Finally got this on! I think down the line I'll replace the KCs with a light bar but this will do for now :D Thoughts?

Nice looking truck. I think the lights look fine but a light bar would be cool too.

Yeah, if only they weren't so pricy.

Nah the bar holds three lights, so I used the two outer tabs.

Thanks man :D still some changes coming down the road

Lower temps will slow the reaction, and if too cold it will never properly cure.
Catalytic reactions are exothermic, but if heat is removed much faster than it is produced, it won't cure properly.

Likewise, take some 30 minute epoxy and mix up an entire Dixie cup and watch it get hot enough to burn you and cure rock solid in about 5-10 minutes.

Temperature extremes on either end are not good for catalytic reactions.
Same for concrete, though concrete actually benefits from a cold cure as long as it stays above freezing.

Ok, Guess it is time for me to play...
This is still the best thread on TW but then again I am biased.

I bought this 12 RC 5 speed 4x4 in june of 2012 when I traded in my 2010 subaru OBS, since then I have racked up 42 thousand miles, it has been all over the west coast and has done at least a dozen 12 hour road trips, one cross country, and many many muddy snowy crappy drives inbetween.
It has never let me down, and I use my truck, well like a truck. I have moved yards of dirt, lumber and everything else you can think of.

you can see several " mods" in the pictures, but really it is bone stock.
I added a mid rise ARE topper with cross bars soon after I got it, I travel A LOT for work all over the western united states and am often gone for 2 weeks at a time. the topper is my home away from home and the dog likes it too!

I replaced the dung flops after I blew two out in a week after a summer of living and working in the mountains of wyoming..... total miles before blow out? 5000. Since then I have been running ten ply Hankook DanaPro ATM's, I love them and they have almost forty K on them with about 2/3 of the tread left.
several thousand miles of rough dirt roads and another 15 k of snow covered nonsense and I have to say they are one of the best " AT" tires I have ever driven.

added a clutter catcher and the " under the wheel" mood other then that it is BONE stock. Smart driving, and a bit of luck have gotten me in and out of a lot of places. The only time it was stuck was when I was trying to drag my POS back up rig a 91 chev blazer out of the shitstorm that is wet heavy Pac NW snow.

Since onwership I have had two problems that toyota took care of, 1 the drive shaft came from the factory out of balance and two I had my inner composite bed replaced.

The pictures speak for them selves, I could not ask for a better truck, yea the bench seats suck ass it rides like a bucking mule it has no cruise control or heated mirrors, not to mention the stock suspension sucks i have to roll up my windows by hand and my wipers only have two speeds.
but you know what, its a truck, and that is how I like it.

@cdthiker Great looking truck! And some cool stories to boot. Just curious though, why did the bed have to be replaced? Also what holster are you using in the under dash pic?

So I put my 265/75 load range c duratracs and some mb 352 wheels on and my mileage has plummeted. It's been windy lately so that doesn't help, but so far I've gotten 150 miles to half a tank. This about normal for what I have?
