I guess I'm one of the few that prefers the bench seat.

When I first got my truck I hated the bench seat. It's not so bad now that I'm used to it. I still would have changed them out for buckets, but I don't want to lose the air bag. Not that I want to retain them, just don't want there to be any possible insurance issues if I have a bad wreck.

My All-pro ifs skid came and i got some questions. 1) Its bare so what is the best way to clean the metal before priming? 2) what hardwear do I use? Can I reuse the oem bolts?
I might have more but thats it for now.

Would anyone know if the All-pro skid needs extra bolts? It looks like it bolts to the cross member.

I always clean armor thoroughly before applying paint. The steel has a thin coat of oil on it to prevent rusting during shipping and handling, and that keeps paint from sticking real well. It "seems" like it sticks, but then later you find out it chips really easily.

^Mine are all branch scratched, seems like a fun little change. .

Also saw some talk about getting rid of that bench seat. I'd be interested in pics of that guy throwing accord seats in. I have some Audi seats collecting dust in my basement. ...hmmm

Alright dont kill me for asking but without looking thru 300 pages of this thread....what are the best coils to run on my single cab with no bumper or winch in the front and remain around a 3in lift and safe to wheel?

I have a 3in spacer now and i just ordered pro comp pro runner shocks all around with the ride height adjustable in the front. I just dont feel comfy adjusting the shock to gain lift. I want coils. If it helps i have a 2in add a leaf in the rear.

My truck is sitting on 884 OME coils with no top plate spacers, but with the 5mm trim packer for the driver's side. 2" AAL in the rear. It's been about a month and the front has settled to 2 13/16" lift. I figured if the front sagged to much I'd just add the top plate 1/4" spacers (for +1/2 lift), but right now I like the rake and it rides good.

It's new......mods starting soon. Removed step bars so far. lol
alright so based on the comments i think ill be doing 884s with the top plates...my rear is about three inches over stock height ( wheelers HD packs from Alcan ) and i need to get the front done now.i did the rear because of a broken leaf spring and knew id be upgrading the front too.been stink bugging for a couple months now saving funds for the front end.im ready for the front end parts now just want to make sure im as close to level with the rear as can be after the front coils settle in....but no bro stance either
