The strings on the side are for synching the cover up tight to the seat. I saw them in black and tan, camo, and a lighter black and grey. I didn't see an all black one. I paid 25 dollars, I think they were on sale. Online they are 49.99 I like how they match the interior just about perfect. And the material is seems really durable.

I figured the console would inhibit the full range of motion the bench allows for lol

Haha if you got a spare seat I'll take it, I just want something for my wife to sit on so she's closer. If I can't get a spare seat to add ill trade I'm heading to Vegas Friday, kind of wanna keep my seats though. Buckets Are the shit hahahha. No lie, even better if your truck is Manuel I feel like a racer everyday haha. O i got a nice custom spot for the machete

I'm tryin to fab my own middle seat and make it so I can have a seat then lift the seat up and I'll have a center console under it.

Damn not bad, don't think I've taken mine up that fast before. What rpm do those tires put you at ~70 in fifth? Are you above 2k still or you just gotta haul ass on the freeway?

I'm typically in the same boat. Last time I was on a road trip it was windy as hell, I had to downshift all the way to 3rd to maintain 60mph. Got 14mpg that trip

Yeah that's how it is with me most the time. I have been in 3rd trying to maintain 50 before. Damn wind. I don't even want to know my gas mileage that time.

    Not enough
Just put these bed lights in from Matt Gecko for $90. I think it's a bargain! The light output is insane and it's already helped me out when fishing or just going to the store at night.

That's like somthing I would come up with haha. I gotta see some pics once your done. That's somthing i would of done if I was still single. Take my truck and dog everywhere and sleep in the shell. I'm lookin to invest In one of the truck tents I love em. Deff a huge fan of your truck. Funny you say you took them to the desert as soon as I got my generals I went mudding haha. Shoot some photos of your hoist and hit me up if you need ideas I got a few depending on how much room you got height wise of course. Or one you hook up jack it up a few inches and dip out also holds in place so you can work on it and clean it. Man I want a shell now hook up some lighting and stuff .
