I like my 2nd gear when off roading. Honestly all I can say is I'm sooooooooooooo happy I don't own a 2.7L automatic I would shoot myself, they have to be so sluggish and crappy no offense guys but I love being able to control my gears and with my k&n and future headers it won't be much but it will make it better.

X2 I even drove the 4.0 auto and couldn't take it, Toyota made the 5 speed right on this truck.

Sure the 4.0 had more balls but with the auto it wasn't nearly as fun to drive, haven't checked out a 6 speed but everyone bitches about them anyways :notsure:

And there's prolly 4 other things on my truck that's off-road use only. Like light bars in Cali need to be covered when not off roading....???

F you pull me over I'm so sick of all these stupid laws when the big wigs rape our state and take our money just like the guy on CNN who was just arrested hahaha ok change of subject we have good weather in San Diego and beautiful beaches and nice off road spots.. See there is positives

    That's what I thought.

I heard they were making a change, but now that I recall, it was moving away from the chassis dyno/sniffer test and just doing a visual and polling the OBD-II port for codes since the OBD-II system will throw a CEL if anything is bad enough to throw it out of spec.

I'll probably have to smog my '08 this year.
I've had to do my wife's '04 Rav4 twice... last year and '11.

Hmmm, just got off the phone with discount tire. They are ordering in 315/75 r16 MT/R's :anonymous:. I am inbetween that tire and the Hankook RT03. Leaning more towards the RT03 because of price and overall reviews.

Snow is what is pushing me towards them. If I were to go wheeling next month it would still be snow wheeling . Plus they remind me of humvee tires with the tread. MT/R's look cool but supposedly are not that great in snow :(

I actually like the stock bumper on the reg cabs. I will be looking at a bumper probably next september...if you can design a sweet hybrid I would be interested :D. Since living out of the truck doesn't seem to be working out I think I will be taking next summer off and meeting TW'ers all over the states for a summer worth of wheeling, beer, and good times. I will for sure be swinging by texas :woot:
