There is only so many ways to make a bumper that looks good :p. I think the hybrid market is there but hasn't been explored much. Bruteforce and pelfreys hybrids look almost identical to me. If I had the skills and the know how I would take allpros new apex design and make a clean hybrid out of it.

I think with some filler plates it would make it stand out and still look awesome. The weight savings between the hybrid/plate isn't that big anyways. Just my thoughts though.

If you make it out to NY/PA let me know, hopefully by then I'll have found some closer places to me to go wheeling. If not I'd definitely meet you at Rausch creek or something

No way. You have to rape the cab mount, beat the piss out of the pinch weld and then take 2'' out of the fenders.

But really, it is pretty minor when you think about it. You have to do the CMC for 33's anyways. If you do a snorkel or a high clearance rear bumper you will be cutting the fenders too. It's not a completely irreversible mod soo I will consider it minor.

Ha thanks. Check out singlecabguys build. He has some pics of all the cutting needed. I believe a 3 inch lift + a 1 inch body lift is enough to fit 35's with minor trimming.

Haha well that's partially why I just made the leap. I know the minute I see 35's I would want them. After 4 months of 33's I would think they are small again . Plus, I have some tougher trails planned this summer and they are really gonna help since I am not heavily armored yet.

265 is a great tire size with a 2.5'' lift if you don't do a whole lot of wheeling. Keeps the taco drive able for most and you will learn how to pick good lines when you do go wheeling.

I would suggest going to 285 if you plan on wheeling a decent bit and will be active with TW Meets.

Ouch, well then 265's if you feel like looking better than stock. 285's if you want to look awesome next to other tacomas.

Join him tacofox! You can tackle most of everything we will do in Wyoming with 265's on a reg cab. You will want to take some bypasses if you don't have sliders but o well.
