Correct, no crawl box. Twin stick case for $950. My t-case actuator shit the bed and rather than shelling out more money on another garbage actuator I decided to go this route. It's not a terribly difficult conversion to the FJ case but I don't have the workspace to do it now. That and Wyatt clearly knows what he's doing more than the majority or all of us...

The crawler is roughly $1600 and I could always add it later, just no money for it now.

Or anything with a locked front diff on IFS.

I'm not planning on going that route though ;)

How many tires can you fill with that tank? 12oz, is that what it says?

That's just for the lockers guys. Ill get a 20lb tank for the tires/tools.

Ill get up to 1200 locker uses out of a 12 ounce tank and I have a 9 ounce ill keep in the tool box as a spare.

Damn, that's impressive. I don't know why but I still like the compressor idea :notsure:

    That is amazing capacity though!

Cost more. I'll be using the arb solenoid but eventually I will be using a air switch and won't have anything electrical.

You can benefit from a crawl box no matter what size tries your running. The crawl box helps with control which is where most people end up breaking stuff. It'll save your cv's, u joints, trans and axle shafts. No need for the skinny pedal which is where most of us get into trouble. Torque is one thing, but when you add in horse power along with torque, THATS when things go boom!

For years I've had the "experts" tell me not to put a 4.7 case in front of my stock T case because the torque would break stuff. I simply told them to stop looking at their calculators so much and actually go wheel and see if their "Theory" holds water. I've been wheeling this big ass rig for years now with 4.7's in my crawler in front of my FJ Case and nothing has happened. I even just pulled it out a couple of weeks agao to have Marlin put all their new goodies in the crawler and the input shaft on the t case looked like it was brand new. Thats after 25,000 miles in a 6200 lb truck doing the crazy things I do with it. These drive trains are MUCH stronger than people think.
