Well nevermind then haha. I figured being in the artic the truck would never really hit solid ground to get much traction. But those tires are really big for ifs and probably even the rear end too.

I doubt they had much issue with the being that wide. Pretty sure they just drove a straight line anyways.

True dat. A commanche or wagoneer would be tits too. Actually pretty much any jeep other than the patriot compass liberty or new cherokees. A guy around town has a lifted commander and even it is pretty sick.

It looks kind of like this except he has some black method's on it: [IMG]

I googled the artic truck, looks like it has 44s, i seem to remember reading somewhere they had a delay during.the trip because it broke, cv axle maybe?

I also had an old comanche when I was 16, it was when they were still made by amc and had a ton of general motors odd parts on them that were gm style, and almost the same as most other parts they made from the 1980s. But everything I had to buy for it had to come from napa as the regular cheaper parts stores barely listed any parts for it. Btw it was a I4 not a 6. I think it had a 2.5. It wasnt all cool though, it was 2wd and solid axle front .

If there's anybody here on the fence of getting 285s because of power loss.... I barely noticed any at all. I'm sure it's situational but for me driving around town I barely notice a difference at all

2.5 inch toytec plus I added some daystar scorpion shocks.

and yeah I wasn't sure how it would turn out but I love the darker silver especially with the rims. I'm real pleased with how it came out

I bet that wouldnt have happened on 38s.

You should put them on as a preventative measure.

I never really speed. If I do its only 5 over. I normally cruise at 70mph now and that keeps the rpms below 3k.

I don't speed because I'm never in a hurry. It does suck when I get stuck behind someone that's in even less of a hurry than myself.

Same here. Every now and then I gotta tack her up and dumpah to blow the carbon out. Usually I stay within 10mph though. :)
