    - Undercover Flex tonneau cover - Pop N Lock tailgate lock - Weathertech DigitalFit floor liner - Sick Speed Ol' Skool white shift knob - Bench seat mod - Wiper mod - Cruise control mod
Posted this on the "what did you do to your tacoma" thread, but thought I'd share it here with the rest of the cool single cab people.

Replaced OEM shift knob with Sick Speed Ol' Skool White shift knob & replaced stock mats with WeatherTech DigitalFit floor liner

Love the shifter so far, seems to weigh about the same, if not, a bit more. Fits my hand great, doesn't cause a pressure point like the OEM knob. Install kit came with everything I needed and fits very well.

Mats fits mostly good. Passenger side was near perfect. Driver side required some trimming to loosen up the mat to reduce the gaps. I tried to bend it and it fits much better now, though a gap still exists between the dead pedal and the wall. Still works great though.

    I would recommend both mods.

Why? Because it was so smooth?

Heck no they aren't smooth. Before my Tacoma I built a 1980 K10. Built a 350 hp small block with a Muncie SM465 3 spd and a NP205 transfer case. Got stuck in stop and go traffic for 2 hours once, left leg was completely numb.

I looked at Avids and the bolt on style are not for true sliders, more for running boards. I made my sliders to be bolt on and just as strong as welded on.

I learned to drive stick in a 65 Chevy, 3-speed on the column. My last stang had a Stage 2 clutch with quick release quadrant. Both were easier to drive than my Taco. Having said that, I love my Taco. I just thought you were saying it was easier to drive than your Taco. If you think that's bad, you should drive a 03-04 Cobra with a stock clutch. Those clutch pedals will give you a workout.

No doubt! My buddy has a 95 Cobra with a Stage 2 clutch and Rockcrusher Transmission, 4.30 gears. Holy crap does that thing suck to drive.

I was just talking about how quickly the clutch engages. It was a damn workout though. I'll take my taco anyday. I learned to drive stick on it so I know no better.

    same.

i think this tacoma clutch is the easiest to drive. you literally hardly even have to push it down to disengage the clutch.

So far I've added an Advance folding bed cover and since removed it. Gave it to my son in Maine, he has an 05 2wd. GT perfect fit seat covers. Weathertech floor mats and window vent visors. Waag center brush/grill guard. Hose clamp tailgate mod. Turned off the seat belt chime. Added Ultra-Gauge. Trailer hitch. Softopper. Replaced sun visors with slide out style. Toyota bed extender. Had Firestone Destinations and now Michelin LTX AT2 in stock size. More mods to come; Fog lights, locking storage in bed, intermittent wipers. Now looking for Radio/HU upgrade. and maybe a lift way down the road.
My 09 is pretty easy. Easiest for a truck I've ever had. My Mustang was easier but it was a short throw and shifter.

Yeah... My clutch frequently let's me know it's upset, smells like shit.

Be interested to hear how you like the LCE, I've heard good things.

But after 1,000 miles of towing the Tacoma finally reached its new owner. Farewell

And the new rig took us 4,300 miles, ending with the highlight of this

Anyway, been fun. Will still scope the CO area offroading threads so I can tag along in my 4runner. Long live the regular cab.

So i have a question...for some reason i have always wanted sport wheels on my truck. My truck now is blacked out and im in a big debate with myself of whether to leave it blacked out or add some brightness to it!

I love the look of it now and i also love the look of the second picture! HELP
