    Purchasing a new 2012
I'll appologize up front if I'm asking this in the wrong location. I just did the first 5K /6 month inspection on my 2014 regular cab(4x4). I greased (4) drive shaft zerk fittings .
Reading through this web site I see refrences to (5). Anyone able to agree with me on there only being (4). Additionally when I lubed them ,no lubricant flowed out other then the grease I pumped in. It gave the impression that they were dry from the factory. Go figure. looking at my profile on the left I see I was purchasing a 2012. I guess time does fly when you have to save for a new vehicle.

5 is for the access and double cabs. Their rear driveshafts have an extra one for the joint that we don't have.

Yea I get it quite often and mine are adjusted for the truck. They turn them off real quick when I flash back, but most people don't understand the height difference between a car and a truck and they get all butthurt about it. I've had people pull out of the way then follow me with their high beams on...

Wasn't sure what forum to put these in...single cab, 2.7L, 5-lugger or Super White. Thought I'd just throw 'em up here. I know there's not a lot coverage on TW for the base trucks and most people around here couldn't care any less about them. But hey....under every Taco there is a base truck!

I wish mine was still that clean, maybe I should wash it before winter  LOL. And they should have kept the standard lights on base models, then I wouldn't have these ugly LEDs.

I've had her for nearly 2 years and 30K miles. I do my best to keep her cleaned up, but I'm certainly not obsessive about it. It's a daily driver and it's going to get dirty during my 50 mile commute and whatever crap I haul with. But once a week or so, weather permitting, I try to give her a good bath inside and out.

And yes to the tails! Can't stand the LEDs. In fact, I traded them off on my '09 for a regular pair. Glad Toyota went back to them for the '13+.

Yeah...never much been into the bells and whistles on any vehicle I've owned. My truck is as "base" as it gets save for 1 option....sliding rear glass. Best $140 I could spend. I love driving windows-down whenever I can and the slider is my "vertical sunroof"!

I'm right there with ya man! I love the crank windows and manual locks. I notice yours has fog lights, that's one thing I do wish mine had. Only "options" on mine was the sliding rear window and 4x4. I've added to it since I bought it, of course...

Nothing wrong with a plane jane taco. And it a 5 speed. I see you added fog lights. Did you add intermittent wipers?
