I was just going to say, I have intermittent wipers on my regular cab. It is an SR5 though.

Do you guys know why they stopped offering the SR5 package for the regular cab? I mean I know the double cab is far more popular, but why not offer that package?

People that buy rev cabs either need a very cheap truck, or are to cheap to buy a nice one and pay for all the cool stuff.

Either way when you could get an Sr5 reg cab they must have not sold well.

Yeah, I bought mine for looks and the fact that I didn't want 10k in worthless extras. Plus, short wheel base, gas savings and manual windows. It really sucks when your window motor dies and you can't roll down the window.

I have at least 3 motors I need to change on the land cruiser now.... When they're working the passenger side will be nice but I wouldn't hate a roll down drivers side

2009 4WD Reg cab Taco. Keepin it simple.
So far I've added an Advance folding bed cover and since removed it. Gave it to my son in Maine, he has an 05 2wd. GT perfect fit seat covers. Weathertech floor mats and window vent visors. Waag center brush/grill guard. Hose clamp tailgate mod. Turned off the seat belt chime. Added Ultra-Gauge. Trailer hitch. Softopper. Replaced sun visors with slide out style. Toyota bed extender. Had Firestone Destinations and now Michelin LTX AT2 in stock size. More mods to come; Fog lights, locking storage in bed, intermittent wipers. Now looking for Radio/HU upgrade. and maybe a lift way down the road.
I wanted the Reg cab so I couldn't accumulate crapp in the cab. You just can't pile up junk and leave it. Also I prefer simple and less to break.

I've got a regular cab and it has that option but it's an SR5.

It's funny how everyone assumes your a cheap ass for buying a reg cab. I've got a fully loade Duramax LTZ and I will make every excuse I can to drive my taco:drunk::duel::stirthepot:

I love the truck man! Also Ash is gorgeous. I am a little confused though, which wheel-tire combo are you running? I would love to have the same look on my truck.

Thanks man! He gets that a lot :p.

    315/75-16 Goodyear Wrangler MTR-K
    SCS F5 wheels, gunmetal.
Borla .75'' wheel spacers all around.

I HIGHLY suggest that if you get this set up that you be ready to dump cash into gears. You can drive the truck with 35's but gears should be soon to follow.

I've noticed this as well. I am sure a lot plays into it with the wheel base, tire selection, and the driver (power control, lines, etc) but my truck just seems to keep on keeping on while the v6 starts to struggle in a lot of areas.

It takes a very short time on the trail for people to notice how much easier it is to maneuver the lil reg cab around.

Yeah, I would imagine as long as you get in there and do some good work it wouldn't be a huge issue. It's not a huge gap of days. The reason it sucks for me is because that's right around when internships and seasonal work starts. So working a week and then asking for days off the next week just doesn't work haha.

Not the end of the world if you don't make it this year. Once school is done you will have plenty of time. Maybe have the whole week off with no worries or stress.

Yeah, I am certainly not stressing it :D. That will be the only thing that hangs me up. Well that and an unexpected drainage of my savings.

Im new here as a member, but not new to the forums and i thought now was a good time to get in here and show you awesome standerd cab guys, like me just what i been doing. I still have to mount my light bar, winch and am still looking for a suspension to level out my front end and get my stock ride quality back ( any tips would be awesome)
I was told by all my buddies who drive thier (big) ford chevy dodge trucks i should just get a bigger truck. Thats not me, and i have proved my ways, im getting offers left and right by the same people who want to buy my truck now, good gosh it feels good. Even got pulled over by a police officer just so he could ask about the truck and what ive done. But here what i have so far.
