The 2.7L Single Cab Thread

Ha, thanks man. Lots of better looking tires out there, but real world/day-to-day use is not worth it. Ride quality, $ at the pump, and wear characteristics are more important to me.

 

Did you have any rubbing issues? I'm also looking at new tires but can't decide on size and brand for that matter. I really want to go 265 but idk if I wanna deal with rubbing. My suspension is stock also.

 

265/70/16 is a factory tire size and should not rub even with no lift.

 

Yeah, you wont see rubbing until you get to a 33.

 

Guess I have no reason to not go 265/70/16 then. What brands you guys like? I was set on duratracs but don't like some of the reviews so now I'm thinking BFG all-terrain t/a ko. The more I read the less sure I am of anything haha.

 

265/70/16 or the 265/75/16. Doesn't look like either should rub. Now that Ive decide on the larger size I gotta figure out what tire I want. Merry Christmas to me!! BTW sorry for another tire post but I got a pile of crap I'm working on and my head is about to explode.

 

x2 for Hankook Dynapro. Excellent tire, had on Tacoma, 4runner, and now Ram in 20's (uhg).

But definitely do 265/75/16.

 

No rub. It is an optional tire size for our trucks so I just went with that. Plus if you have factory warranty it shouldnt void it in any way, should you have a problem.

I pm'ed the all mighty Bob to get mine changed. Sean is probably one of the most active mods and always responds promptly as well. Not sure if he could change the name but he could reach a guy that could.

Front spacer lift Gotta fix that, it's got that dezert rake to it and ya can't do a durn shackle lift on these things..
ARE bed cap with side slide windows and screens, front slider/hinged window, head liner and a BedRug and Yakima rack
