The summer wouldn't be bad. You are actually getting a good section of wyoming weather. Likely to be little wind, temps in the 70's, and occasional rain.

Well the plan was to get a new truck before then but idk. Might just suck it up and drive taco for a while instead.

I want something with more room and power but maybe a regear will make me loveit again.

Certainly made me love it. I still do. Granted, it's no speed demon but going above the speed limit is nice . My buddys Land Cruiser V6 with basically just an ARB weighing it down can't keep up.

Re-gear, and I bet you will love it again. Just like it was when it was stock.

As far as room, I am with you on that. The reg cab still fits my lifestyle well. It's a bit cramped with the dog as passenger. My next goal is organization. Everything has a place and that place can be easily accessed.

Yea I wouldn't mind having a 17second quarter mile again :burnrubber:

And yea the room is a major downside for me at this point in life. Between having a career now that requires my truck to transport all my tools and luggage to places like Wyoming and having a gf that I plan on *knock on wood* marrying and us having a dog too.. Life is calling for a 4door for sure.

Almost at 100k miles too :goingcrazy: hit 82k today.

Haha yeah, when I have a girl or friend, they get put in the crate in the bed (ok, kidding, Ash goes there). I generally have to layout what they need to pack because saying "bring what you need" ends up being their whole damn house. I have set the truck up and my gear to cater to two people so really all the girl needs is her bathroom necessities and clothes.

I have no intentions of being married or really having a girlfriend until I settle into a permanent place for work. Right now that's looking like a game warden so there isn't much time for family anyways.

That's clean man! You made the grille yourself?

Thanks. Ya, got a grill off Craigslist, two plastic 1 gal paint canes, a Dremel and went to town. Mating the cylinders to the grill, then making it look stock was a sanding nightmare. The lights are mounted to the radiator support not the grill. I kinda like it.

Yeah, you could easily make some money on here or eBay. At the very least do a write up .

What's the suspension specs on the silver one? I wish they hadn't stopped colormatching the flares

Cool. Sometimes I wanna get some clean rims like like f5s or trail teams + 265 street tires and go back to that look. Maybe in another 50k miles, which is like 5 years at my rate haha

Lol, I'm flattered. Get yourself a spare grill and a couple of gallon paint cans and you can make one in a week or so. Personally, I wouldn't touch this project again for anything. Absolutely no fun at all.

Thanks for the positive comments from you guys. Anyone want to tackle it, I would be more than happy to assist.

It looks pretty good. Did you use the paint cans for the light housings.
