LOL, I've had those three for 6 years now and they're still going strong. One of these days I will snap a quick pic of the box I built and how it sits in the cab. Only thing that sucks is who knows that they are actually putting out because for some reason Memphis thought it would be awesome to put their ratings based on a 14.1 volt system....

    ^LMAO

Focal's are french homie, and Polk is american but it aint good. It's a good bang for the buck but it aint what I truelly wanted. But Yeah my mono is good down to 1ohm at 1100watts if I ever wanted to drop it down to that. But at 4ohms it pushes the Polk just right. I like that they are bi-ampable.

    I couldn't kill mine.

That one I talked about in the K&N thread where I commented that it burned a quart every 3000?

    I didn't change it at 3000.

It was lucky if I changed it at 10,000.

    At Iffy Lube.

I'd add "a quart" when I'd notice the oil pressure gauge swing down when I'd turn a corner.

It did it once accelerating on the freeway... figured I'd better add 2 quarts that time.

My friend Bill in front may he Rest in Peace.

I had a 90's 6lug, same body in white with the sweet 90's vinyl. Wish I had a pic of that truck. Same motor, same oil issues. Got worse when I plopped the TRD Mild cam in it at 180k miles truck had 245k on it total.

I was going to do DD's in my rig till I came across the Focals for stupid cheap. And let me tell you these things are AMAZING! I think I even looked into DD subs but I am holding off because I am on the fence on whether or not I want to sell/trade for a 5lug extracab. Ever heard Dyna's in person.... so beautiful but I have read a few reviews that they over heat easily. Which would probably be even easier out here in the Phoenix heat.

I put well over 220k on that beast. It probably had 80k when that picture was taken in '97 or '98.
    Replaced the clutch at 180k.
Never did replace the rear brakes.

Better move that seat all the way up lol. They want a lot of airspace to function properly.

I couldnt imagine 2 12" subs in a reg cab. My 12" sub with 500W RMS rumbles shit hard and is super hard on the ears even with the windows down.

But what the chart doesn't show is the constant ringing I live with 24/7

Turn an AM radio to a station that has only static.

Now turn it up so it is a comparable volume to the person talking to you.

That's in my head 24/7... I have to sleep with that going.

BTW that flexing was caused by one single 12" sub

As for seats mine were out of a 200SX bro. Picked them at the Salvage yard. All you gots to do is go to a yard and a find a set. Then hit me with a PM and I can send you a writeup on what I did to make them happen.

I had a rather large and long ping/ring noise in my ear just the other day. Only thing I could think was, oooopppp there goes some more hearing....:(

I used to be like that.... still am to a certain extent, but I have a lot of regrets because of it.
