Anyone interested in a wheeling trip around mid may? I am thinking rock therapy might be to large for my tastes.

I didn't experience any rattling until yesterday when I went up to get the work done. I have to double check my paperwork but I am fairly certain that I got a new cat. I'll post a pic of the receipt this evening, if I think about it.

About $10k as it is now with the FJ axle.

It's using a FJ80 front axle right now. Let's say $4k maybe 5k. Then all that's left is links and coilovers. Links are made in shop (anyone with a welder could basically make their own as well). Same with all the brackets.
All that's left is coilovers(could get bilsteins to save money rather than fancy kings) and steering.

You could solid axle your rig for $10k and have it look similar.

That's not including the crawlbox or 37s tho.

Hell, my buddy has a Dana 44 built with gears and locker already and is trying to sell it to me for $800 lol.

Solid axles only cost a ton if you pay someone to build it for you. Most stuff can be built in a garage if you have basic metal tools.

Any of you guys running a bed mat?

If so, do any of them ( OEM Toyota?) have the rubber on the bottom side that fits between the bed ridges or does the mat fit right across the top of those ridges in the bed? I'd like to get one that has those ridges...

I have a horse stall mat that I am going to cut to fit the bed. $40 at your local ranch store. Thicker rubber too.

That's another option I was looking into if none of the Tacoma bed mats have those rubber ridges on the bottom, plus its cheaper.

Yep, cheaper and more durable. I am not sure what ridges your are talking about. The rubber mats I have seen are garbage though.

In the back of the truck bed there are those ridges. Last Toyota bed mat I saw few years back had rubber that fit the length of the bed between those ridges on the bottom - logo on top. Basically sat flush in the bed in a form fit with no space between the bed and the mat. Hope that makes more sense.

I am not in the market for a bed mat but now that you mention a horse stall mat I might be. They lay flat and are a good distributed weight for the winter. thanks for the idea Baby Taco.

I run the oem and it just has some little pimple looking bumps on the bottom of it and no, it isn't shaped like the bed is, it fits flat over the top of the valleys. Never had any issue with it like that and it is heavy enough to not move around any when on hwy (tested to 100mph on closed road) IMO the oem is worth the extra coin from what I've seen of other ones.

On another note.....adding the oem OR pkg gas tank skid to mine soon. Just ordered the tank straps that have the mounting points for the skid. Scored the skid cheap from a FS thread awhile back so it's time for it to go on the truck. Would be something more suited to 4x4 playing offroad more seriously than my prerunner but doing it anyway.

I figured they might sell the whole truck, they had a nice 4 door in the bst section for about 50k before. I looked on the all pro website and didn't see anything about the single cab.

Just pulled out a full size pickup no big deal for the 2.7 lol. First time I've been able to put her to work since I've owned her.

Are you looking for a leveled truck or a truck with a bro lean (higher in front than the rear)?
