    Thank you!

I got it on ebay but quite honestly it's bad quality with lots of smaller bubbles and it is fading oddly I think due to soap/wax. I have a friend with a vinyl cutter and I'm going to re-do it with a better font with 3M 1080 wrap which imo is the best. I also got the Toyota Sport decals on ebay but I wish I got larger versions. They were better quality and I will probably get 16" versions and remove these. At least they're both cheap to re-do!

Thanks! I'm trying to keep the mods fairly simple and straightforward for now with bigger plans for later. I'm considering a stealthy stock bumper integrated winch mount or a desert toy fab type C bumper I believe it is called which again keeps a healthy portion of the bumper. We had a stock jeep out there with fairly blah truck tires... not MT or even AT and he was doing fine. I couldn't believe it that he had no tire issues.

^The max setting for 5100's are 2.5 I thought in front? I did the 2nd highest which is 1.75 myself. It leveled me out then my AAL from ebay got me raised in the rear. I'd imagine raising the front would put me at 2.5 raise all around and level it once again.

Uhg I'd love to know this too... I only get this in 4x4 when I lift off throttle around 60-70 it's very loud. If I have music on I don't hear it but it can't be good for the drive-line whatever is going on there.

I'm fairly certain it happened right after I did my AAL.

Question! I am looking for a solution to my problem! Below is the volant CAI. Where is this sucking in air? Is it using the stock location?

I am still unsure of the cause of my engines troubles but i do know that it has been starved of air due to sucking up dust from the stock location (even with the new liner). So the next truck part I am buying (other than the pricey cost of fixing my engine) is going to be a way to get clean air.

    I have two options.
1.) snorkel (ugly but with pre-filter will keep the air clean)
    2.) CAI

Obviously the snorkel is the better option but the CAI is low key and would keep my truck beautiful!

A CAI is noisy, makes the truck slower -fact, and sucks up a lot of hot air from the engine unless you get one that routes in front of the radiator which then puts you at risk for dust, dirt, mud, etc.

Drive shaft slip yolk. Mine does the exact same thing. My plan is to have a custom shaft made with a cv joint and shim the pinion to point directly at the case...there are several threads about it...the single cabs are very sensitive to lift it seems. Search around you'll see...

255's will fit on a a 2nd gen with stock suspension if you use OEM wheels. If you must have aftermarket wheels they should have similar backspacing to stock. If you have bro-dawg wheels that stick out and don't allow the tires to tuck into the fender wells, you will have issues with pretty much any oversized tire.

If I cared about noise I wouldnt have modded my truck so heavily . I know they dampen the power but it is a small amount for what is gained. The snorkel is likely the winner but I want to cover all my options first.

So 2nd gen regular cabs don't come with a double cardan drive shaft?

Could route the snorkel inside the cab. Noisy but no ugly exterior additions.

Thought about that too but it seems like more work than it is worth. While noise isn't a huge issue, I could only imagine the headache I would get from the GF complaining about it

I didn't realise the cruiser outfitter snorkel is only $330. That makes the choice that much easier. Snorkel and pre-filter it is.
