This descriptions says double cab, but do y'all think these would work in the single cab too? They look like they would.

Trying to find parts and info for a v8 swap sucks. All I need is the wiring and computer stuff like a plug and play harness for a 2tr-fe to a LS1 swap.

Quite a few companies out there will take your engine harness and make it plug and play for you. LS1 wouldn't be to bad but the cost would be a pretty penny to get it done right.

Hmmm haven't heard of any companies doing such.. Would be sweet even if it was expensive. Wiring is the devil I swear lol!
Negatory. LS before SAS because building links and suspension around the engine is easier than finding a way to make a bigger engine it where a stock one was after there's already links and whatnot.
Will do. Since truck isn't gonna sell, strongly strongly strongly considering buying a wrecked donor car and just doing a LS/T56 swap so the truck can get better mileage, more power, and be able to pull a camper if need be.

I love the taco. Like I can't help but smile when driving it. But the power is so so so sooooo weak. All it needs is a v8 and it'll be perfect for a daily.

Eh, weren't you talking about getting a fullsize regardless? Swapping in a motor may fix your problems, or it will cause more. You have a strong running engine that works for what the truck is built for. Take the money you would put into a new engine (10k+) and use it for a down payment on a tundy.

I was only considering because fixing my engine is costing a handful of money and I wanted to super charge it later. Only made since to drop the 6k and get a working 2jz in it and then mod that in the future.
