Updated pic with TRD centers and Husky flaps. Pretty plain compared to others!

Thanks! If it wasn't for this site, I wouldn't have got the idea.

Also, that center console has been on my Ebay watch list for sometime. The pics and review of it on here makes me want it even more.

Thanks:). The cover is a TonnoPro Tri Fold. It works nice.

    The rain guards are EGR's.

I had the rear slider tinted. The sides aren't.

That would be cool, however I'd rather buy URD's 2TR supercharger :D

Sounds like a cool idea. Think your geatest challenge would be the electronics though. Probably need to swap tons of engine control stuff to make it work. Anything is possible if you got the money, time, and patience!

    Yes and no.

    For off-road? Absolutely.
    For a street truck?

An RC done up like an X-Runner would be sweet.

But for you... ya... It's barely worth it to go through the swap.
    I'd trade up to a 4x4.

I can't imagine it being more than a engine, harness, and computer swap. maybe a fuel pump.

Transmission, possibly the transfer case, and with the trans, the shifter, cluster....

It can get pretty involved unless he swaps to a manual.
Not sure if there's an adapter to connect the 4.0 to the 4-speed... and if there is, I don't know if the 4 speed can handle it.

If you go with the v6 swap, might as well just add a 6-spd manual. it will fit perfectly with no cutting.

I'm going to do it, I've only got 15k on my truck, so I want to wait until my warranty is up before I do the swap. I'll def super charge it when I do it too.

    2.7 auto is a 4spd, 4.0 is a 5.

And similar thing with the manual... 2.7 gets a 5, 4.0 gets the 6.

I'd just stick with the manual... swap your 5spd to the 6 unless the 4.0 will bolt up to the 5.

Transplanting in the auto will be a bitch. The consoles are different, of course you'd lose the clutch and would want to install the proper brake pedal or any future buyer would view the truck as a hack job, and of course the instrument cluster would need to be swapped for the proper display... 3 different clusters, manual has no indication, 2.7 has the L-2-3-D and 4.0 has L-2-3-4-D... and it's a different shaped gate.
Ya, you could live without it, I rarely even look at my dash display, but it would be just another item that would say "hacked"

Stick with a manual and it should be a drop-in as long as the 6spd will bolt up to the transfer case.

    Personally, I'd swap in a Cummins :D
