Any good recommendations for a 3in lift? I'm hoping to find a decent one under $500. Also what're some must haves for a standard cab?

"Decent lift" and "under $500" don't go in the same sentence:D I say save up a little more and just do it right the first time. I bought a $250 dollar spacer lift and I hated it so much I spent around $3000 on suspension later. Now I'm stuck trying to sell a cheap lift.

    OFF TOPIC:

Anybody's Regular Cab come pre wired with the 14 pin connector above the microphone in the ceiling?

If I can find the wiring harness without tearing up my roof liner, I can wire a back up camera!

From what I understand this is the case. I've read on here somewhere someone discovered it was there when they were installing a head unit. Much like my tailgate has the camera wiring, by no camera.

Well, let me back up. Do you see the little square piece of plastic in your ceiling? It'll be rather noticeable.

In that case yes, it's back there some where. If my memory serves me correctly it runs down the passenger pillar into the dash. Where it's found after that, I dunno.

    And thanks!

    I appreciate the help!
Did you wire a backup camera?
Do you suggest I pull the headliner down and begin my quest or should I check out the A Pillar and behind the radio?

I'd check that pillar first. Behind that dash would be pretty tough trying to figure out. But, at some point you'll have to figure it out where it ties into the harness.

And I haven't wired up a camera yet. OEM ones are so expensive.

Look into Rostra.com (also on Amazon.com) they have some clean kits for that OEM feel. I used them for my backup camera and love it!

Are these the type that I've seen people make work? Or are they direct placement?

Semi-direct placement. If your truck is not pre-wired direct placement wont ever work, mine required the harness but used OEM connectors. Very good instructions.

P.S. I also used them for my cruise control.
