Anyone ever run or know anyone who has ran yellow fog lights? Or housings with yellow tint?

I have yellow hid 35w 3000k Hella 500ff's. They kick ass in the fog.

    I also have 35w hid 5000k fogs.

That's what I'm looking for something to break through the fog. So if they do that well maybe it's time to invest

There's a guy in the for sale section selling yellow LED fogs with the mounts that go in the stock fog lights for $130 shipped. Seemed like a reasonable price.

Hmmm... sounds reasonable to me I'll have to give it a look! Thanks

    Got a link?

I was going to put three amber LED pods on the light bar, but I think it would look weird with the yellow fogs. So I'm going to get LED pod brackets that got into the fog light spots and put amber leds in them as well. My DRL are also amber LED's.

I bought the yellow fog lights off of a member on here. They were yellow housings, with yellow hella bulbs. For extra protection I put yellow lamin-x on them.

I think I'm going to try these, with the custom pod brackets that someone makes on here. Can't remember ATM.

I've saw some older tacomas plowing in WV but they've all had v6 and not really a mass operation just a drive way

I guess that plow has a hydraulic down pressure option. I bet you could plow with it if you put some weight in the bed. Maybe http://www.shurtrax.com ?

It looks like the lights that you can buy with the bracket are 6x3w leds and the ones on Amazon you linked to are 4x3w leds and they're about the same price.

@4bangeryota - this is the link to the for sale ad I was talking about.

True, but I like the look of them being amber when off. You can also get the oz's with a diffused lens which helps with fog.

No problem. Yes, I work on wind turbines. The job entails electrical and mechanical work. I wouldn't be able to wire a house though.
