It's hard to explain how it drives honestly. It definitely drives different than stock. But it is something that you have to be aware of! Dont do anything stupid and you will never have a problem with it on road. Plus with a passenger a quick little jerk of the steering wheel to scare them with the body roll is always fun!

    A few tweaks
Spent the day at Rausch Creek yesterday. Our club goes out monthly and is open to all Toyota's. It is a good group of guys.

Here's my 2012 single cab had it looking pretty good before someone hit me and tore up my camper and the whole drivers side. Waiting to get it back so I can put the new wheel and tire set up on and have it looking even better!

Took my truck in for a service this weekend and got recommended to have the recall of the catalytic converter, so went ahead and had that done.

Since then though, I've noticed a really weird, rank smell when I get out of my truck after parking. Has anybody else experienced this after having the recall done, or have any insight here? Could the smell be coming from the cat or is it something entirely separate?

Probably the cat getting broken in, new stuff smells when it gets hot the first few times. If it's still doing it by the end of the week, I'd take it back.

Awesome. I assumed it was related to a new part getting broken in, but just wanted the double confirmation.

    Appreciate the response.

My friend had a car with that problem in hs (at least that was his story). Hope it goes away quickly.

Any second gen 4x4 guys care to hold a tape measure up to their undercarriage and measure the distance from their alignment cams to their main crossmember in that part of the truck - or have info about the difference between reg cab prerunners and 4x4's in how everything mounts up front? Muchas gracias :D
