The cap I got isn't specific for regular cabs, but it fits really well. The back window doesn't line up perfectly, but close enough for the price I paid. I ran into another fellow reg cabbie who had a canopy for an extended cab on his and talked to him about it, specifically if it leaked. He didn't have any problems unless he washed it or was caught driving through a torrential downpour.

After looking at the leer site, it seems that they only make a cab height shell for regular cabs, same with snug top and others. The only brand I have seen that makes them for the Reg cab is ARE. They have the mx and TW series for the reg cab. The MX is the only one that has the overlap of the shell and bed so rain isn't likely to get through.

I've looked or months on Craigslist but nothing ever shows up for regular cabs. I'm just going to buy new.

thats what i ended up doing. I only went with leer because it was two week wait time where ARE was 2 months. happy with my leer though. Just wish you could get other leer models that fit the regular cab.

Does anyone know how much lift I could expect with ome 883 on 5100s set at 0? I'd like to get 2 inches of lift in the front ( have a 2 inch level now and the ride is terrible) everything I've found says I should expect 1.5 but that's for double cabs. I'm just wondering if anyone has run this on a regular cab and could I expect more lift because there's less weight?

So nice! Is your handle rusting on the PB swingout? My latch didn't fit properly so I had to dremel down the locking pin and it still needs a whack to open and close. Noticing surface rust at those contact points with just a month or so of use.

It is. My latch is really tight and only works if you do it the right way. Which means I always have to open and close it for the girlfriend so that gets old. I planned on sending my front and rear for powder coating next year. Spray paint just doesn't hold up well.

If I'm not too late. I have a 2004 RC 4X4 and it has a Vision HR 100 on it since new in 2004. It's a very high quality shell as near as I can tell. No cracks or anything wrong with it to this day except for normal wear and tear like a few really small holes in the screens and a faded rear brake light up top. It weighs about 155 lbs. It was $993 new with options like the drop front slider, 12 volt light and platinum headliner. That was back in 2004 though. It's a medium rise. I guess. You can see it in my avatar there to a certain extent. There are a few other pics of my truck on the forum elsewhere. The truck has seen light off-roading since new. Nothing really harsh.

If they are still in business it was bought from

Here's a pic of mine on my 2004 RC. It is a Vision HR 100 sold by:
    S.C.A.T.T. Recreation
    429 Riverside BLVD.
    Roseville, CA. 95678
    916-773-6614

It cost $1293.00 back in 2004 with the drop front slider, 12 volt light, and Platinum Headliner. It's held up very well and there are no cracks or anything to this day. Finish is still shiny like new. It's been on the truck since new. Just normal wear and tear like a few small holes in the screens and a faded brake light. Don't know what they cost now or how the quality is these days but this one has been very durable. The truck has never really been "wheeled" except for a few times by me. Just light off- roading all these years.
