I see a bunch of you guys have soft toppers. Do you notice the increased drag while its up?

Thanks for the reply. I'm guessing that's due to the increased side area more so than an increase in drag. I like the look, I'm just worried about drag on the highway.

I had a bestop and no cruse and got 17-18 mpg, with a strong gust of wind it the drag is noticeable versus with the bestop off.

Now with the hard shell top on it does seem to take the gusts better, I live near the ocean so wind is horrible. But now I'm getting 19.5-21 mpg with the hard shell top and with cruise control I finally installed.

Please I am no expert but that sounds like maybe a bad dash ground. I am not sure how they ground them but maybe you can get hold of a wiring diagram. Had a Vette years ago and only took me a year to figure it out ! Lol

Could also be something shorted at the lights itself. If you have an after market trailer harness that would be suspect or the light harnesses themselves

But the stock skinny also serves as a low clearance warning device so you don't scrape the top of the cab on something..........

Truck looks awesome! I am getting closer and closer to 35s with each passing mile

I have not noticed an increase in drag with my softopper but really like it so far!

Also did some serious wheeling in VT this weekend almost rolled the taco but my rear bumper saved me! ( Right after this pic was taken)

I said "let's set up the tripod and take a photo for your parents. They would love to be able to be here and see this view". I had the camera take a photo every second so I have a bunch of photos of it and us.

Sooooo.. got my BP-51s on finally! It only took forever and somehow my specs are
    24 1/4 - front
    25 3/4 - RR
    25 1/2- LR
Don't know how that 1/4 in the rear happened but it is nighttime.
