Has anyone installed a backup camera and tied into the factory head unit? I have a 2014 reg. Cab and there is a location on the tailgate handle. Called Toyota and they quoted $550 parts and labor. Car toys was almost no help. They wanted me to buy a new stereo.

Bad news guys, I put my driveline spacer on made by trail gear.....the truck vibrated so bad i couldnt drive it. You can feel it vibrating by 35 mph. Piece of crap. I took it back off and used a micrometer on the bolt pattern, it's .003 ( three thousandths) of an inch off from center. Cheap ass shit. But at $35, it was worth a shot.

http://www.rostra.com/2014-toyota-tacoma-tailgate-backup-camera.php I think I bought mine through Amazon but it was this company, I also used them for my Cruise Control install.

My blank canvas. Can’t justify going too crazy, but maybe a small lift and better shocks with some bigger rubber. E9EFED0E-2950-4758-9672-712A07286AC1.jpg

    1. Get those grocery getter mud flaps off there
    2. Remove secondary charcoal filter.
    3. Install rear diff breather up to gas tank door
    4. Yellow wire mod (arb locker works better)
    5. Intermittent wiper stalk

I cant stress enough the importance of getting a good, properly designed lift. it will be the difference in your hating or loving your truck.

Looks real clean. Been looking into a shell, but new they seem to run around 2K. Did you get yours new or used?

    Yep.
I've been lightly searching for a used one for a couple months... they're pretty rare. Haven't got any quotes, but I hear 2-2.5 is about right. Wish the body lines were the same as a AC/DC.

I ended up going new, got tired of looking for a used one. It was about $2,300 with the options I got. The price hurt but I do love it, and it is nice to have the warranty for some peace of mind.

Well I gotta go buy a new creeper, just so I can start installing this. It's the 4 port module, for rear end, transfer, transmission, and front end.1519514304245-1674781381.jpg
