Ok so I took the truck to the dealership and service guy brings it out about an hour and half later says the noise that I heard was the trailer hitch receiver. I said no way and demonstrated the noise. He brings it back in and comes back another hour later and says the left leaf spring is bad. There going to change it when the parts come in but only the one side. My question is shouldn't both sides be changed or will I be good with the one? I asked him that question and gave me the basic stealership answer which was the other side is "good". Anybody?

Perviously posted but this is what happened.

Im sure they make a leaf pack for it. Probly less than 400. I dont know much about reg cabs. Double cab leaf packs can range from 5-7 hundred so i figure itd be less

Nothing an AAL won't take care of. 80.00 or less makes it a non-issue. You know you'll be lifting it with 5100s up front so the 1.5 AAL out back will take care of the leaf issues, especially on a reg cab. I had no hauling or axle wrap or any weak sauce around frwy exchange corners ever again on the access cab. It never sagged even after a few 1500 lb loads. I'm sure a reg cab would handle it without any problems. I haven't even addressed it on my reg cab. Isn't nearly the issue it is on AC or DC trucks. No reason to go buy something else that the only thing on it worth a crap is the leafs and the rest is junk, lol.

Ok so I wanted to give you guys and gals an update to my problem. The dealer replaced the left rear leaf and it seems to be back to normal. We'll see how she does with some weight. I just glad I did t have to pay for nothing.
