Who has converted there windows electric?! Weather is nice and one of the only things I hate about our trucks is rolling the windows up and down...picture from Saturday for attention (tire rotation)

Not windows but have some wiring to pull between the 2012 sport pwr/blinker mirrors and the dash switch and from the blinkers on the mirrors to the blinkers under the hood. I figured I could make due with the windows and locks.................

@overado ive seen someone on here wire up their single cab for power windows. Ill try and dig it up. I also found another place in kingston today that has trails. I used to go out there in highschool but they blocked off the main entrance. found another entrance today behind a grocery store. talked to the guy who works at aubuchon and said guys go back there all the time and no one polices it. might be worth checking out.

    None yet.
They've handled the little snow and mud that's been thrown at them with ease. Unfortunately they are coming off. 33s are too big and heavy for my 2.7L and I will be moving down to 31" dynapros. It's too bad cause theres barely any wear.

Pros: it's a single cab toyota....Pretty much cream of the crop when it comes to going anywhere off road
It's also one of the fanciest single cabs ever made. Touch screen radio, buckets seats, Bluetooth, hands free calling, navigation, cruise control, reverse camera..the sky is the limit really.
    Easy to park.
    Ok on gas
Another one people over look is headlights....mine are crystal clear and really really bright. A joy to drive at night
Cons: not a lot of room for things....after adding behind seat storage from a 4 door, this problem has pretty much disappeared.
    No overhead storage
The light weight causes you to not be able to recover what a 4 door truck that weighs more could. Simple physics there. A winch and tire chocks mitigates this
Most trucks come with the bench seat which is TERRIBLE for comfort, you have to swap in those buckets I am referring too
Not a lot of stand by power. Now I have a new header arriving in two days, so I will install that and we will see,
Towing weight limits. Mine pulls a 16 ft utility trailer with 3 quads just fine (manual), but towing any kind of camper a long distance is gonna be asking a lot.

On the highway, if you remember it is a 4 cylinder and getting the motor revs up to pass and climb hills is ok....then it does fine I think. Now once you get into the mountains in colorado at 5 to 7k feet elevation, it starts showing its limits on power.

I ditched an 05 AC for my 08 RC and very happy I did. I drive mine every day on the highway. 75mph at 2500rpm with 31" tires and 20-23mpg. Does great, what's not to love? I have an SUV for extra space and also a sport wagon so no issues with single cab space at all.

Oh that's another thing too, reg cabs usually get more from a lift than its less cool ACLB or DCSB cousins do cause most lifts are designed for the 4 door

    ONLY real con is space.

Maybe power, but it is not a complete dog, it still gets up and goes.

This was true with the stock 245/75r16, but hills can be an issue with 265/75r16 AT tires.

What mods did you guys do to your reg cabs to increase power or fuel economy?

Mine does fine on the highway even with lift, though I come from the short wheelbase world of Jeeps so I could be biased. Power is the only issue. Stock is totally fine, but right now I'm running slightly larger tires and a pop up camper. Hills on the highway are really my only issue, but regearing in theory should fix this issue. Otherwise they are great trucks!
