Pretty sweet! I wouldn't mind having something like that...I had a double cab silverado for a brief stint great truck but way too long

I am thinking about a single cab Chevy long bed duramax to add to the fleet. They are all automatic though

    Anyone running Icon Stage 3?

Its the 2.5 extended travel fronts with tubular UCA, 2.0resi rears and I plan on using an All Pro Expo leaf pack in the rear.

installed the URD short shifter kit yesterday and the few miles i have driven since installing it feels like a great improvement over stock.

My Icons blew up at 5k miles. Crackhead designed top hat, the valving is horrible for the single cab and there are only two valving options for Icons. There is a huge build quality difference between Icon and other manufacturers.

Sucks that happened to you, but I'm guessing since your LT that your use is going to be far different than mine. I'd imagine that was a rough 5k miles. The fastest I'll be going off road is 30mph down my dirt road driveway or low speed crawling.

Mine is a DD that'll see some mild southeast offroading. For a $2,700 kit, I'd imagine it's going to be better than $1500 worth of OME or $1000 worth of 5100s. Plus, I got the whole thing for $400, basically the price of new UCA.

That's my thoughts. I'd love to hear what other people think if they have experience with this setup on our trucks.

I have a daily driver and my truck is constantly getting worked on or something so I have zero time to go offroading it seems. The Icons saw very few offroad miles and the truck is in the garage 99% of the time. You are 100% right about being better than other kits. At a $2,700 price point your getting alot. But...Icon is like chevy. Best in “initial” quality. They dont last.

Lol. Yes I had a Chevy 1500 with 40k miles that rattled more than my 10 year old 4runner with 200k!

I just really wasnt expecting to hear negative reviews of one of the big three suspension options for our trucks. I've always heard them compared to kings and fox. The same can be said about Ford and dodge nowadays.

I guess the good thing is that they are serviceable.

Guy over in the Texas thread got icons and within two weeks one was loosing fluid. It's a street dd in Austin. He called icon and they said the labor for rebuild is free but the shipping to and from is not and will be a 2 week turn around time.

But for 400...resale and buy what you want. (If you decide not to go with the icons)..

I'm beginning to see more and more of that...

I have 885s, and an all Pro expo leaf pack that I bought used with OMEs. The OMEs probably don't have much life left so I might could see if I can sell the icons and just get some new OMEs. I'd like something with extended travel to utilize the potential of the UCAs though.

Right now I have two "kits". I jumped on the icons because of the price and the UCA, which I needed to finish the other OME kit.

What do y'all think? What would pair really well with our reg cab? It would have to be something I can buy with the money I'd make from selling these parts since I really can't spend any additional now.

    Want 2.5-3" lift
    Extended travel front shocks
    Extended travel rear shocks
    Reliability

    Have
    Expo leaf pack
    Icon UCA
    OME N182 and 140S nitrocharger
    885x springs
    Icon 2.5 fronts
    Icon 2.0 resi rears
    Icon AAL

Wow that's a long post... Since I'm reconsidering all my parts now, it looks like I need to do some more research. :annoyed:
