    I did 33s and 35s with stock 4.10s for a couple years.

Thought it was “just fine” too

    Until I finally regeared.

    WORTH. EVERY. PENNY.

    10/10. Always recommend regearing now.

I installed 5100's/883s set at 0. Personally I wouldn't pre load your stock coils.
For the rear I've got 5100s with Wheelers 3 piece AAL, with overload in.

After running both 4:10s and 4:88s on 33s.
    4:10s are far from perfect.

On a side note regarding 33's, do they need a cab mount chop? I've got about 1.5" of lift from my 5100/883 setup.
Also, my buddy is telling me to regear as well. Big difference on the highway with 4.88s and 33s? I tend to drive the highway alot.

Can't argue the science behind it. But I'll be willing to throw money down that there are jeepers rolling 37s on stock 3.xx gears and they're perfectly happy!

I don't plan on ever regearing. I can't afford $1500+++ on something like that. I'll be running 33s on 4.10s till the truck disintegrates!

If you don't offroad, maybe not. I know some on 255s with no CMC, they rub, but they're fine.

Part of also depends on where you live as well as far as altitude goes. Someone who lives close to sea level doesn't experience nearly the same amount of power loss that someone at 4000ft, 6000ft, or even higher in stock form. So a truck at high altitudes would feel a much larger power loss running larger tires on 4.10's and would get a much greater benefit from regearing.

    I’m stuck and need help.

2009 base no factory fog option

Ordered some TRS led fog lights and an Amazon harness and switch and add a fuse.

Wired everything up and double checked all connections.

I used the add a fuse in slot number 5 (power outlets) of the dash fuse box. I am still getting power to dash outlets so I know it’s good. Ground wires all have solid connections to bare metal. Still nothing

My switch isn’t lighting up nor do I have power to the fogs.

If the switch is not lighting up, then it sounds like it's not getting power, which won't turn on the relay. I would double check the fuse and make sure it didn't pop for some reason.

Well I read around and figured out that I needed two fuses for the add a fuse. So now everything works.

New problem: it’s constantly hot. Power is being supplied constantly to the switch and lights despite being a “keyed” amp slot.

Problem two: how do you secure these lights? They’re just held in place by the tabs and are bouncing all over the place with no way to adjust or hold in place.

Snap lid off end and go with an actual filter. Also take the lid off and pull out the crusty piece of foam before it disintegrates and goes into the impeller within. Like this the filter is the filter, not the foam. You can hear that turbine thing inside it spinning up when you first start truck for about 30 seconds. Foam kinda muffled the sound before as well as filtering. People have said there is some $1400 badness that can happen from the foam getting sucked in.

I'm such an idiot, I thought this was only a 4.0 thing. Never even knew it was on my truck. Well I guess it doesn't help that my Volant air ram covers it kinda.
