In my 2014, the inside marker lights DO come on when the switch is on DRL. That's how I run most all the time.

Here is my 2013 Regular Cab 4x4 5 speed.
Suspension is all stock but im looking to lift soon!
The rear is sagging due to roughly 600 pounds of camping gear in the bed.

Nice. I recall the days of bro lean before I lifted my truck. What are you planning to lift with?

I am thinking bilstein 5100s paired with either OME 884 or 885 coils up front. In the rear I want to do OME MD Dakars. I am staying away from the nitro OME shocks because Id like to avoid the dreaded clunk.
I want to stay between 2.5 and 3 inches up front. Which coil will give the best ride quality on road(this is a daily driver)? or are they the same since they are the same spring rate?
A front bumper/winch combo is in the plans for the distant future, but most likely not for another year.
Im not opposed to running aftermarket UCAs, but would likely stay stock if I could get away with it with the 884s.

I went with 5100's and 883's (didn't want a serious lift), and wheelers 3 piece AAL in the rear with 5100's. So far I love it.
I was within spec for alignment with factory UCAs, but I think with the 884s I would have been too much.
Here's a link to headstrong offroads chart for lift based on OME springs.

I have 5100s / 884s up front with no spacer for lean. 885s on a 2nd gen RC needs UCAs. I think my front lift is about 2.5”. I put 5125s in the rear with a progressive AAL from Headstrong Offroad. When I had stock tires on that lift I did have driveline vibes big time, it’s amost gone away now that I am running 255s. No clue why but less burnt u joints. Dakar’s might give you vibes you don’t want, keep that in mind. If I were to put them in I might remove one of the leafs.

I never did find the answer as to whether our trucks have TRAC.

Who here has done the yellow wire mod and/or has activated TRAC?

My YWM did nothing, I could have one wheel in the air and spin for days with no brake or throttle management from the truck.

I also have no TRAC light on my 2011, just AUTO LSD and the truck with squiggly lines behind it (VSC).

I'm pretty sure mine does. It cuts power if I spin the tires in the rain, and hitting the vlsd button prevents this in the sand. I haven't done the ywm though

Well I get the power cut too if I goose it in dirt. That is the VSC kicking in.

TRAC is typically only able to be activated in 2/4hi, and the YWM allows it to be used in 4lo and provides a LSD type effect to all 4 wheels.
