4wdAction guys are wankers. I mean the main guy has a Chevy Colorado with 31 and no lockers... They only go on trails that are close to towns. I have been down dirt roads so long it took 4 days to reach the trailhead. Camping right now down by the Murray river on the border of Victoria and NSW.image.jpg

Just put a stage 2 icon lift on it along with wheels and tires.

It’s still cool. They have a lot more trails and spots than we do in the US so it’s cool to watch. I’m trying to get my fiancé to agree to start saving together for a trip to Australia

Funny how dealers will try to tell you something about the previous owner to make you feel better. As if being a teacher makes them take better care of their vehicles or drive them differently.

    Beautiful 4runner @weldertaco. I've always had a soft spot for 4runners.

I saw one a few weeks ago though... This dude was a winner for sure.

Bought a 2018 pro, took off pro suspension, put on a cheap ebay lift kit and added a spacer lift to it. The uniball popped out of his cheap ebay UCA and tore up the whole front suspension. He was able to limp it off the trail to the parking lot, but then decided to drive another 4 miles to the gas station. Tore the tire off the rim and bent even more stuff. I'll never understand...

Thy told me he was a teacher that lived in the same town as me and drove 25 miles to work, then 25 miles home.

I got the CarFax through my job and it shows the truck was registered by the previous owner as a commercial vehicle.

I am the second owner, that's for certain.

From my research, the guy was a carpenter.

Dude save up. We got 5 different 4x4s, next year the chopper is coming, and 7.5 million acres of Arnhem Land we can explore, we have the traditional owners blessing to travel cross country too. We will pick y’all up in Darwin and even arrange to take y’all the back way to ayers rock. it takes about 3 ten hour days of dirt roads but still a blast

Just to clarify, my truck is registered as a commercial vehicle too and carries commercial insurance because it’s cheaper and covers anything I tow or winch out of a ditch, and also the rego and insurance become a business write off

I decided to upgrade the wheels/tires since the 285's just didn't look wide enough. I had 315's on my Silverado and going down to 285's kept bugging me. So I picked up some bronze Ray 10 wheels and some Amp AT 305/65/17 tires. It was getting ready to rain so I quickly mounted the tires but didn't have a chance to clean them up. This is definitely the size/look I wanted. My digital camera just can't deal with the white truck and it washes out all the time.

It has OME 885 coils with Nitrocharger shocks up front and some unknown add-a-leaf with the Nitro shocks in the rear. It also has SPC UCA's up front.

My first was an 88 damn near identical to that. Still my favorite body style.

My first truck was a 1990 reg cab with the 3.0 v6 and 5 speed with the same wheels. That was a great little truck.

I was looking into 885s or 884s. How do the 885s ride? This is my daily and needs to be comfortable
