    I like this thread.

Here is my 2011 4cyl, 5 speed, regular cab before I put 3rd gen trd offroad coils/shocks and a 3+1 leaf pack which raised it about 1.5 inches...
Building a roof rack for it that cantilevers over the cab, the design is the second pic, I should have materials in next week or so.

I've always been a BFG KO guy but they seem good. I like that they weigh less than the BFGs and they're "C"rated. They have a little bit of a hum on the road but no more than my last KO mud tires. The bad news is I don't think they're available any longer. I've only had the truck for a little more than a month so that's about all I can give you.

Have been looking for some info but have come up empty handed... Has anyone swapped the bench seat out for some buckets that were not from a Tacoma?

I have found some Tacoma seats for sale but were about 250 each and not in great condition; I have found some leather lexus is350 seats and prius seats all day for 250 for the pair, and I'm wondering if the width of the seat it self is too wide. I understand I'm likely looking at making some adapters to get it to bolt up, which isnt a major concern.

not my truck but this guy went out and got 2007 fj seats and they bolted right in
all you need is the seat mounts off a fj,4unner or tacoma and they should bolt right in but going to have no air bags....

I recently swapped a set in for Corbeau. They came with brackets specific to the Tacoma. The only issue I have is the airbag light on because of the seat airbags. I swapped over the passenger seat sensor

I'm a first gen but I swapped out the bench for some VW Recaro seats, lots of fab work was required.

    Everything and the kitchen sink.
I've been looking and found these are about the best option depending on taste.
https://corbeau.com/reclining-seats/sport-seat.html They are $600 for the pair, they sell the bases too.
https://corbeau.com/reclining-seats.html And all the options for reclining.

Yep, I think those black TRD wheels provide a nice contrast with the white!

Hey for you folks who have swapped your bench for buckets, what center console are you using?

    Yep.
If you have a manual, use a manual console. Auto, use an auto console.

'05 - '15 consoles will work, pick your color. Happy hunting

I did this to get my bench seat recline a little. It helped a lot. I would have changed seats by now, but I’m worried if I get in a crash the insurance company will use the removal of a safety device (air bag) to deny coverage.

Always an option, but there are a ton of aftermarket consoles that offer multiple locking compartments, coolers, switch panels, etc. was hoping someone had ventured into that relm. For the price of used Toyota parts, probably a cheaper option as well
