I had your exact issue when I installed my lift at 30k. Took off shaft, rear u joint was completely dry of grease and rusting away. Replace both joints with greasable ones, added a 1 inch drive shaft spacer, all is good at 70k now.

I replaced my ujoints before the lift so I know they should be good, I'm leaning towards spacer as well.

The lift pulls the slip joint out, giving it less surface on the insdie of the joint to stop the wobbity wobbibity

@stlntaco wish I lived closer! I just got a pair of seats from lkq and finished putting them in today.

To those that have swapped out for buckets, how did you go about wiring the passenger seat? I got seats from a 2014 and the drivers side was direct bolt and plug in. Passenger not so much. The airbag plug works but the other plug for seatbelt and sensor is totally different. Is there a solution? Or is it just rip out the beeper so I don’t have to listen?

I pulled the passenger seat weight sensor out of the factory bench seat, and moved it to the bucket. No issues so far. I used the same seatbelts so that all is the same

Pulled out the sensor and wiring harness from the bench, pulled out the old seat buckle and made a new tongue to trick it into thinking the seatbelt is always buckled. Then used massive amounts of zip ties to get all that crap tucked in under the new seat. Now to plug everything in see if it works...

I am just curious, how much of a lift do you have on your truck? I only ask, since I have that same driveshaft slip yoke grinding on decel, and when I bought a spacer, it was way to thick (I bought a 1" spacer like you, but when I went to put it in, I only have clearance for an 1/8" spacer, at most). But for now, I just grease the slip yoke when I do the u-joints, and it keeps it somewhat quiet.
