The regular cab 4x4 Tacoma is easy to park has less weight also has a one piece drive shaft, fits in trails much better and has better break over, looks better !I love mine!

For the reason I’ve been told they stopped production, is possible if release an electric... which might actually make businesses happy (apparently the mass purchaser of Reg cabs)

Searching through Autotrader, I do see some new 2019 reg cab Titans, Dodge, Ford F150, Chevy Silverados but I did not see them several months ago when I was searching. I know I went to the Chevrolet web site to see if I could build one and it wasn't available. I prefer the short bed and it doesn't look like Chevy offers that. Now we just need somebody to build a mid size regular cab with enough power to get out of it's own way.

I just wish Toyota offered our trucks in the 4.0 lol
I'm sick of compensating bad ride quality by adding a ton of weight

Went to 35’s, did a bunch of chopping and will still probably need to beat on the firewall. I’ll definitely rub when she flexes. With 4.88’s going from 32’s to 35’s adding about 11-12 lbs per corner drivability has gone virtually unchanged surprisingly and improved in some areas, like keeping speed on the highway doesn’t feel as hard, which is mind blowing.

Weight differences between the 2tr and 1gr are surprisingly minimal. The 2tr has a cast iron block with a closed deck, the 1gr is all aluminum with sleeved cylinders. In my opinion the tr is built like a tank, I’ve had both and I got rid of my trd or and kept the single cab, partially because of the design differences. Also because it was hard on my mind to wheel a $33,000 truck.

Hi, this is my first post. I recently purchased a 2008 Tacoma reg cab. I live in Canada do they aren't very common. I just put on a set of Dick Cepek DC2 rims and Toyo open country AT' 265 /70/R17. I love the look of these trucks!

2018 was the last year for GM that you could get a regular cab short bed Sierra/Silverado. Up until a few months ago you could still purchase them through the websites (Chevy/GMC). I wanted one but they only came in automatic so I had to pass.

Hey thanks man it’s actually a FipPac and unfortunately the company went out of business but you can still find them used. There is a company that make a newer version “at habitat”.
