This truck looks great! Was the bucket seat conversion tough?

Unbolt the old bolt the new in? Any seatbelt sensor wiring different etc?

I want to ditch my bench seat asap. Any info would be sweet! Thanks!

I'm glad to see her back and moving again. I know it was a roller coaster of emotions.

Ha! Still running the screwed up engine so we are still on the roller coaster. I won’t be moving for some time now so I am able to dig in this winter without the fear of not finishing in time. Hopefully the truck will be fixed by spring.

I hear ya I'm driving around with a gnarly ticking. I tried to do what I could without pulling the heads. So I'm getting rid of my turbo and going with a 1uz v8 lol

I wouldn’t hate that! I am most likely to just swap in another 2TR and keep this one to dissect and try to figure out what went wrong.

Old thread, I know, but do you still have buckets in your basement?

Sorry man, they are long gone. Another single cab owner from Massachusetts picked them up. If I still had them, I would sell them to you.
If you really want a set of bucket seats, check out Bow Auto parts, in Bow NH, or New England Auto and Truck Recyclers in Winchendon MA, both of them always list seats on craigslist.

Lol, quit buying so many new vehicles and you could get one. I doubt I’ll get rid of this truck for a long time now that we are stable. I just have to talk my wife into letting me also have an 80 series which shouldn’t be too hard.

I’ve had my dually almost a year now and the Runner is mine for life. I have the practical vehicles for my lifestyle but now I want a project again. Something I can pass down to my kid.

Had my single cab for 7 years before I flipped it and with single cans and standards getting cut, I want to get another one while I can and just use it for a side project and putt around town in.

glad you got yours all fixed up and running and happy. You were having hell with it for a bit there lol

The river is running low and I had to back off the end of the ramp to launch the boat. But it was too windy to do any serious fishing. My truck would have been completely underwater where it sits in this picture at the beginning of the season.

I’m sure you’ll get one eventually. I have a ton of vehicles I want for a project but I have to remember that this one is now a project truck too. I think BabyT still has plenty of tricks up her sleeves to drive me crazy. This winter will be a good one for the truck. I am hoping to finally get it down to Moab next year (I have said this every year).

I'm all for a RC roundup in Moab. That would be sick. Don't keep it a secret if you do end up going!

I'm new here, but here's my 2012 single cab! Mostly stock aside from the lights and a stereo. Bought it back in June full old guy spec with barely a scratch in the bed, and it now gets used as my work/adventure truck all around northern Maine.

I have been on here a while but never posted. This is my 2001 2.7L, 5 speed manual, with 98,396 miles that I bought new. The wheels were transferred from my 1989 Toyota 4x4 (I bought new and sold with a bunch of miles on it) that I sold when I bought this one. It runs great and I have had zero issues with it. I am thinking of getting a 2016 4runner with 19,000 miles on it. I don't want to get rid of it, but 4 vehicles takes up all the parking in front of our house. We have a 2015 XLE AWD Sienna and a 2015 XLE AWD RAV4. My son says we should sell moms RAV4 :)thumbnail_20191016_123736.jpg
