what brackets did you use on your light bar

 

Just what came with it, drilled straight down. I did have the lower bumper come loose over time but I snapped it back into place.

 

I also put them on the opposite sides and inverted them. Usually the feet stick wider than the bar but since they’re flipped they face under the bar

Congrats on the new truck! I love how rare the single cabs are but I think if I was in the position to do so, I’d consider trading for something with more space and at least a v6

 

Honestly, if Toyota produced and sold a 2021 standard cab, that is what I would have purchased for my use, especially if it was offered with a V6 and 6 speed manual. Would have paid MSRP without any hesitation.

 

Made it to camper shell #4 on the truck in the 5 years I’ve owned it haha

What it had on it when I bought it and it was much too top heavy:



Favorite shell was #2 - was super light and never seen another one since.



#3 bought off of a truck that was for sale and the most expensive of all. Broke a window and unloaded it for cheap and bought the next one the same day.



Cheapest one I bought was #4



Considering putting the flares back on. Wishing I had white ones - going to look into if anyone’s wrapped them. And does anyone have any experience running 275’s - could be ideal between 265’s and 285’s since I want my mileage good for the daily driver duties this thing carries out and my other truck is what I plan for serious off roading in. Would like a little lsd in this one though.

 

I had this very similar shell that I LOVED and got for next to nothing, and have yet to find another. I even texted the guy I sold it to to see if he would sell it back to me for a profit, no dice. Found a new aluminum topper last week, though I definitely overpayed (really needed a topper for moving)

 

I would buy this truck right now!!!!

 

What are they asking? Is it just body panels swapped or a legit 3rd gen put into a reg cab shell?

 

It was for sale a while ago I’m not sure if they ever sold it or not. Anyway, it’s a 2nd gen prerunner they swapped the body panels from a 3rd gen.
