thanks
I drove it on loose sand and it felt great, it had good traction,
It was pretty seamless.
I think that the truck would have done differently w/the open diff

Changing the 3rd member is by far the best mod I have done to the truck

how was it putting in the cruise control with a manual trans? it's on my list of things to do but all the guides and videos i've seen only show the install for auto trans trucks.

After adding the CC stalk on the steering wheel,
One has to add a switch at the top of the clutch pedal, (which to me was a pain in the rear)
because it is all the way to the top.

I personally could not find a video, showing where to add the switch,
so I uploaded two videos showing exactly how I went about adding CC to my truck.
Here is a link to where I have the videos

Project Lil Taco - YouTube

I hope they help :)

Here is a picture of the switch I installed on my truck

Follow the arm up under dash to the little green thing in the pic that is part of the clutch pedal arm. Switch is mounted in bracket above it where the pedal keeps the pin pushed in until pedal is depressed then CC disengages............yes, it was pain to get to to install, but worth it.

Clear coat peeling off of the wheels......and I wasn’t a fan of how they looked to begin with. So until I get a new set of wheels, I decided to sand them down and paint them a different color. 8 hours and about $30 later, they came out decent. Could’ve did one more coat of paint and a few more coats of clear, but it was a spur of the moment thing and I’m happy with it.

It had to have been a 2.7 setup because it came with intake tube, box. I bought it used. ram air part was purchased separately then sold after i didn't care to use it. i went back to stock with aFe dropin filter. i could probably let go of the whole setup if shipping wouldn't kill any kind of deal....what's odds you are in meetup distance from far west side of Houston, TX?

my k&n tube is trimmed slightly on filter end for the afe cone to fit right in the box. i have both the volant solid lid and the clear one i made for it. i also have the volant tube and the k&n separator wall and the k&n cone as well as the filter that came with the volant kit. with all of it you would have complete k&n setup since you have uncut tube, complete volant setup with your ram air piece or the mix setup with k&n tube volant box and afe filter and your ram air piece.

I rarely drive my single cab any more, probably averaging 1500-2000 miles a year.
It just turned 25,000 miles a few days ago.
It came in handy the last few days though traveling through eastern KY.
I came to a mountain where cars and trucks were stuck everywhere. I had to turn around and go back down and park in a driveway at the base of the hill. I watched all makes of trucks and SUV’s get stuck, even a lifted Wrangker with mud tires. They would go up, spin out, get turned around and come back down. I waited until there was a clear path to the top and crawled right up. I had a full tank, 150 lbs over the rear axle and Duratracs.

I was going to post a video, but can’t on my phone. Anyway I have a new appreciation for my little Taco. The next day there were abandoned and stuck cars all up and down the parkway. 4311642[/ATTACH']4311642[/ATTACH[/URL']tel:4311642']4311642[/ATTACH[/URL]]
