If I could have found this vehicle last fall before I purchased a 2021 to replace my 06 Std Cab I would have bought it immediately. I had been looking for a replacement almost 6 months, but wanted the 5 sp manual, low miles and silver.

This is what I had but the frame was rusting out on it and I missed the frame recall by two weeks due to being in the hospital for cancer treatment. It had 225,000 miles on it and still ran perfect. One of the best vehicles I've ever owned. 5 sp manual with buckets and SR package. Even had the same tool box in the back that you have.

Hell yeah! I'm making a big change come this Thursday. Switching from my 2020 TRD OR Auto to a 2010 Reg cab 5 speed manual. I've gotten tired of car payments and the market is great for these trucks right now. I'm gonna miss this truck but I want an actual project truck and not a car payment truck. Kind of nervous to go from this truck to the reg cab but I'm still excited.

Yeah I just got good money for my Ford. Prices are still high but going from a $25k truck to a $10k truck is going to be nice on the wallet.

Damn straight. I love the 3rd gen truck but I miss a manual and I want something I don't have to worry about being too rough on

They’re perfect for that. I tried killing my old one. I couldn’t. Pretty sure you could drain the oil and diff fluids and it would’ve still ran.

Makes me excited. I love the looks of regular cabs. Plus I'm single with no kids, perfect time to get a regular cab and ditch the double cab!

bought mine four years ago with 11,800 miles on it. just shy of 57,000 miles now. replaced the original battery last month. bed cover and delay wipers are all i have changed on it besides the wheels. simple, sturdy, cheap to own. man i look at FJ's (had an 07), times i wish for more storage, but those thoughts soon pass. be interesting to see who outlasts who, me or the truck.

I've done it! Sold my 2020 TRD OR for this 2010 reg cab 5 speed 4wd. I love it a lot actually. The 2.7L can definitely get out of its own way, not v6 fast but it holds its own ground. Can't wait to offroad it.

Just picked this 2012 up the other weekend. Glad to be back in a Toyota. Can’t wait to start a build.

Thank you! Previous owner put spacers on the front struts and wheel spacers all around. I’m gonna be ripping all of that off soon though. I think it maybe stretched or damaged an ABS sensor wire because the ABS/Traction control lights are on. Not sure yet though.

I plan on putting a modest lift on it. My previous truck had OME stuff so probably gonna go that route again.

OME or Bilsteins can't go wrong. Really liking the 5100s on my regular cab. Need bump stops for sure though.
