Put some mud flaps on it today. Not crazy about them but people might like no rocks banging their windshields. Also, put the bed rug in there to see what it would look like. Since I don’t have a shell, I’ll leave it out for the time being.716E5D91-9C38-4E12-ABCA-EC3B4A676048.jpgA260FE4B-9AD3-49B9-9427-1A801C37308E.jpg

What are yall running for your psi? I have a high roof shell and probbly in total in the rear is 350lbs at all times. I have 31x10.5 ko2’s on 15” wheels at 35psi on all 4 tires. Should it be lower? Thanks.

How much are you asking for the truck? Is it a 5 speed manual?

@Hayrider those are plastic “hub caps” that are over stock aluminum rims. They look good even up close and I bought it that way. @radclerk1 I’m going to ask $23,900 and will take 23k. It is a 4 cyl, 5 speed with 76k miles. It was a CO/WY truck so no rust. Mechanically a 10, interior a 9 and the body is a 9. There are none like it on Craigslist along the front range so we’ll see. Thanks for asking.

There are way too many variables that determine tire pressure from one vehicle to another. Which of the three trucks in your bio are you inquiring about? 4x4? Load rating? etc...

How to apply the load inflation tables (toyotires.com)

This will give you a good starting place. Find your size and load rating, estimate or weigh your front and rear axle weights, and go from there. I know it says TOYO Tires, but this is a universal chart derived from The Tire and Rim Association (TRA).

This looks like your size. The (B) and (C) are going to be the max PSI for that load rating.

Some good looking single cabs in here. I'll add.

Sold the Habitat and did a 900 mile round trip to get this ARE MX shell. My local vendor quoted me just about 4K for it built the way I wanted and a "who knows" lead time. These single cab shells don't come up for sale often so decided to snag this one. I wanted windoors but saved 2800 with this one.

Ya, sold it a few weeks ago. Nice looking shell you have, I may still be interested in yours if you decide to sell.

Im curious as to why you sold it? And went to a fiberglass shell. I personally prefer the shell in this platform and my situation. Its nice and light and small and great for travelling. I dont live in it and dont plan to, If I was living in it full time I would get a bigger truck and a home like camper. Whatever works just do it, no such thing as a perfect build is what i learned.

Few reasons.. The extra weight and wind drag were VERY noticeable, it turn my already slow truck into a complete pig, even running 4.88s. Passing on one lane highways was pretty stressful. MPG dropped 3+ easy. Other than that, the habitat in particular has a ton of fabric, which translates to a lot of flapping in windy situations. My better half and I regularly slept with earplugs in. She sleeps pretty light so it was a bigger problem with her.

We loved being able to stand up and change out of the elements, warm up some water and wash your face inside when its cold, have somewhere to hang out in the rain.. lots of cool benefits. This truck with the camper is just a little too underpowered for my driving style, and the habitat is loud. I would/plan on doing it again with a wedge style camper and a more powerful truck. Just not ready to sell the regular cab, its been too good to me.

Nah, I dont think so. Being in CA would make it a hassle, I'd guess someone makes a carb compliant one but I don't really want to add another layer of complexity/maintenance to the truck.
If we have kids I'll need something different anyway, so I'll just solve the problem then. Even then I'm thinking I'll keep this as an extra vehicle when that time comes.

im in the same boat, thought about adding a supercharger but didnt want to add another thing to worry about. I also will have kids in probbly a few years and ill just keep this vehicle as an extra adventure rig as a solo.

i trimmed mine about 3inches to make them look a little better and not get bent backwards at highway speeds but still keep some of the crap off rocker panels and inside of rear bumper. I'm sure they block a rock or 2 as well
