97 auto 4x4 4.10 gears on 31 ko2’s. I want to go to 33’s, what gearing should I get 4.56? The 4.10’s with the 31’s are okay but any hill or hwy I feel the truck needs more power, if I keep the 31’s will going to 4.30 make a difference? thx.

 

I've got 4.88s w/33s and, while it's a ton better than it was with 4.10s, it's still a dog.

I probably would go 5.29s, but I don't really know. They were not available when I did the gear change. I have never checked MPGs cause I've never cared, but I'd guess it's still around 20. It runs 26-2800 RPMs at 75 MPH on the highway.
