Another example, the shifter seems to be in a way different position, no?

Visually, I could be really wrong, but the 2005 auto looks to be in a different position in the regular cab

Mine is in the same spot as yours on the side of the shifter, so if those are up for grabs...

Is your truck a 5 lug or 6 lug? If it's a 5 lug, the transmission is different than the 4wd drive trucks, that may be why your shifter is in a different location.

Wonder if any 5 lug trucks came with bucket seats?

That shifter still looks to oddly be in a different spot but I could be wrong. It still has that double layer of storage infront of the shifter haha

OK gang, I took care of that annoying rattle I had for months, it ended up being a big crack on top of my flowmaster muffler. I dropped the exhaust and had a friend weld it back up for me. I also scored some really nice oem bucket seats for only $400! They have airbags too so I’m hoping for a smooth install! I will be piecing together all the parts for the center console as my budget allows. I already have the dc storage bins and also want to switch to vinyl flooring instead of carpet.

I put 4:88s in my auto with 32s.
It's a lot better, but I would probably recommend 5:12s. Especially for 33s.

After doing the bench to bucket swap, only issue I had was the passenger side bench seat bladder, to turn passenger side airbags on. Today I pulled the seat out and I was able to get the bladder between the foam and springs. Now everything works as it should.

I’m looking at center consoles and trying to figure out what fits. I know the shifter console is gearbox specific but what about the actual console that has the armrest and cupholders in the back, is that part the same for manual and auto trucks?

I think so but not 100%
I have an ‘05 5MT and my dad an ‘06 6AT. They sure look the same to me but haven’t tried swapping ever.
