better pics. Took it out Friday and I love this bike. Just needs more grunt for my liking as I was stalling a lot in the tight stuff. Im thinking about going with an 11oz. fly wheel weight because this thing hits really really hard, almost impossible to keep the front end down on pavement lol.

Wow! That's a really clean '06 KX. Very minimal scuff on the side caes.
+1 on the fly wheel weight. It'll let you chug better in the tight stuff, but I'm pretty certain you know this already. Enjoy the green machine!

Thanks, yeah it was hard to hold back the awe I was in while looking at it. Can't let the seller know you're impressed if you want a good deal:D

Should be ordering the FWW this week along with some other miscellaneous maintenance parts.

Nice, I love the entire KX line especially my old 85. I was going to upgrade to a 250 but never made it there.

way high for around here. I got that '06 KX250 above for $2600...

That CR, if it has like 10 hours on it, is maybe worth 2k at most.

haha. Yeah I believe it. We have a lot of options here in southern Cali. The market is super soft and there are a ton of deals right now. Plus we are in the motocross capital of the united states.
As for a bike, Im going KTM 300 two stroke since I do not race motocross anymore. I want a good desert bike

zero low end power, and just a dog all around in comparison to the other brands. The YZ (any year really) and KTM ('07+) have the best engines IMO. My KX pulls pretty good too...

I think they still make a 125 two stroke KTM.
My buddy had one and that thing was fast!

Steve, before you get the Flyweight have you tried playing with your igntion timing? You can really change the power by that alone by TONS! I had a flyweight on my YZ, took it off and played with the ignition, lets just say the flyweight is no longer going to be on the bike, however I also have a rekluse clutch which already acts as a FWW, so it seemed for me anyway the extra mass was counterproductive, since you not running a rekluse the FWW might work for you..

WTF $4000 for a 125, good luck with that one buddy! Thats ridiculous!! I could get a 2009+ CRF 450R for less!

Already got the weight and loving it! I didn't know about the timing though. I may look into that to try and squeeze out a bit more low end. Thanks.
