Just throw 2 powerbands on it, way easier than a full conversion. :turtleride:

But seriously for the new KTMs I have seen a product that allows you to turn a dial to adjust your PV, pretty cool. I wish the big companies would expand their R&D budget for the 2 stroke lineup, seems more people all the time are switching over from the 4 strokes due to maint. costs.

I have both and wouldnt want to competely ditch the 4 strokes since they do have their place, but not everybody wants a 4 stroke.

my KTM came with different PV springs to dial it in. Those come with all KTM 2 strokes from the factory.

I have pics on my profile but can't link em on my phone. Ridin a 2008 Sherco 290. Pretty good starter bike for trials. Looking to move up to an '11 or newer in the spring. Rode a '13 with a 300cc cylinder on it last night. No need for the big cylinder and head. A lot of good looking bikes here guys

Thanks man! It has like 5000 in upgrades. (PR2 suspension, steering damper, anodized rims/hubs, new style plastic/graphics, pro circuit exhaust, oversized brake rotors, ankle savers, big bore 167 kit, etc).

The big bore kit made it harder for him to sell, and he was in a rush, so I offered him 2100 and he took it!

I actually don't want the 167 (increased maintenance frequency and costs), so I swapped the big bore engine with a Stock 2007 YZ 125.

I sold the stock YZ with the big bore kit for 1800 :)

That's a lot of parts for $300. You racing it or just a fun bike?
