    Best combos IMO

Front : Dunlop AT-81, Bridgestone 403, Dunlop MX71 (they are all great!)
Rear : Dunlop AT-81 RC, or if you want it to last a bit longer but slightly less traction a Maxxis Desert IT

MX-71 in the rear - CRAP! I got 4 hours on it on my KX and it was bald!

Never liked Maxxis, after the edges are gone (first and only ride), those tires are useless out here. Maybe your dry pack is a little better then ours, but I can't imagine it being better by much. I used to run the 952's on the rear.

Looks like they are phasing out the D952, only $75 for a brand new one

Before you jump om that try a pair of Atrax tires (the 4 ply version) from Motosport, everybody raves about them and they are less than $100 for a pair shipped!

Gonna be my next tire purchase to try out.

Aaaaanyway I am heading out to the National hare and Hound Championship Series race for Sunday, going today to practice and see mu suspension guy for some tuning as well as bomb run practice.

Wish me luck, oh wait, not luck, wish me skill, lol.

Gonna be lining up with over 150 guys at once for a dead engine start. If you have never experienced such a thing its simply incredible!

Moved up in class, they made me start as a Novice since I have just been doing single entry into the events, after I signed up and talked to the Steward es said I was waay to fast for Novice and I agreed

Starting in "B" line, and by the end of the year I will be back on the "A" line again. I used to race pro when I was a teenager, but I dont think thats my goal these days, I would just be happy with a red bar (designation for Desert racing Expert class) I am labeled as an intermediate for now..:(

Anwyay, should be a blast, the Nationals always put on a a kik ass race, espcially since its a National Caliber course!

Also gonna be my first race on a 4 stroke in 3 years! But the KX runs like a raped ape, I even bought a neckbrace out of fear, that nike is so fucking fast!!!

I will get some GoPro and a ride report when I get back!

Have a great weekend fellas and keep your feet on the pegs!

    I'm out!:D

Was planning on going back again today but then of course it snowed last night and now theres 6-10 inches of snow on the ground...awesome wyoming. Don't even have a single picture..was too busy braaping to pull out the phone :D

    Bike looks good!!
Mine (2013 KX450), not so much, had a horrible day, broken radiator, dented Ti Megabomb header, scratched every plastic panel, and my soul tried to leave my body more than once!

But I finished 6th in class at least. Hardest race ever...So Cal M/C tried to kill me, I am sure of it, lol.

I wished I was back on my YZ.....sniffle.
