Why not ride 2 strokes if you don't race?! They're light, snappy, and give you a WAY bigger rush than any 4 stroke!

I have a 2008 CRF 450r upgraded to 488cc with a stage III cam, porting, high compression and its a blast, also had a 2006 YZ250f and sold it to buy a 2006 YZ250 2-stroke, I am sending the cylinder to Eric Gorr for the 295 kit so those pesky 450s dont get me on the long straightaways!! I had the YZ144 but just didnt have enough power for my liking. Even though I am only 120lbs, I am used to having a lot of power because I turn mostly by sliding the rear end, and tend to keep my front tire off the ground more than most people. With the 144 that was much more difficult, gotta shift a LOT!!

The maintenance on the 4strokes is killing me and I do my own work, but owning 4 of them keeps me busy, I have 2 CRF 450r bikes and my wife rides a CRF 250X. So now I only have 3 4 strokes.....

ohhhhh, I want one of these please!!!

    :woot:

are the 200's e-start? I always thought the e-start was funny on 2 strokes since they start first kick every time.

Nope but the 250 xcw is. I always thought it was funny as well. Mine starts everytime first kick, unless it has been sitting awhile, then it only takes a couple kicks.

okay cool. My 250 would start first kick even after sitting a month, as long as you get it to TDC first.

Why? the YZ of that time is a better bike overall and is similarly priced.

Looking at a 2006 KX250 Thursday, still has the original front tire on it according to the owner. Too bad he wants waaaaay too much for it, hopefully cash will help him come down in price:D
