    Im new to tacoma world, found the forum by searching aftermarket grilles.... I see that Craig has quite a following and is the man who builds such awesome grilles. I bought a 2013 crew cab extended bed 4x4 Tacoma and have been searching for these grilles. I would love to one of these custom RAPTOR style grilles! [​IMG]

    If you read the several posts and lots of pages you will discover there are no grilles available or the 2012 and newer trucks EXCEPT the flat Grillecraft mesh which comes in black and chromed If I recall correctly. The Grillcraft does not have the "Raptor type" bold lettering but a few guys here have put the letters TOYOTA or TACOMA (available from BAMF, a vendor here at TW) on the Grillecraft mesh for a sort of Raptor grille.

    Home Taco has not built and does not sell grilles for our 2012 and newer Tacomas at least partly becase these truck grilles are flat whereas the earlier Tacoma grill had some "depth" so that the face of the grille and lettering sets back in a couple inches. This will be harder to do on the new trucks and while homer HAS made one or two prototypes there has been just those couple.

    Others can correct me if I am wrong. But bottom line is several of us are hoping a good looking grille or grille kit comes available for our 2012 and newer Tacomas. If you seriously examine the Tacoma the grille is a serious design FUBAR in my opinion. I have a plate bumper on my Tacoma and have concidered just running around with no grille to clean up the front end appeaance.
