I had a great time. No damage found. Yet. I'll look closer this morning. Being in the middle of the pack, I was able to get out and study the rough spots and pick the right line, by watching others get through. Gotta get me a good shovel. Hi-jack lift. And various other items to go in the emergency kit. Didn't need any of it this time, but I can see where it is necessary.

I don't think your supposed to drive it forward while Jacked.... seems very unsafe. Easy for me to be an internet warrior though.

Most of the way in John was in front of me, and behind me, on the way out, so I have a lot of pictures of his truck.

In NSW the saying is, "Two is one, One is none". So, I bought two sets of tracs. I figured if two tracs are good, four is better. One set in the truck, one set in the garage. But they are a disgustingly ugly neon lime green.

wheeling can be unsafe at times, I have seen this done a few times, and body damage usually accrues. dangerous yes! but in an emergency you do what you have to. With all those rigs one would think you could of winched him off there vs, the hi lift. so far I think my winch has save my ass and others more then any other recovery method.

Yeah. I would think hilift, rocks and traction boards under the tires, set the truck back down then winch him forward. Like I said. Easy to be a keyboard warrior. Ive done my fair share of stupid recovery ideas.

the hi lift could have been used as a winch. I have pulled stumps with a come a long. much safer method.

Jay rode my slider across that really long water crossing. Figured we'd stop and turn back if his feet got excessively wet. Human depth finder. Good times.

i do believe there was too many people on this trip. It was a blast but 15 or so is a lot on a small trail, there was a lot of hurry up and wait. One spot we waiting almost 2 1/2 hours before moving on.
