I've had mine to the dealership a few times and was given the lame excuse that it's the way the truck was designed .
After throwing a major fit in one of the service departments I went to another dealership and put a deposit down on a trd pro 4Runner . I won't have my Tacoma for much more than a month or two , even if I have to accidentally let it roll off a cliff without the park brake set lol

I blame the wandering on the "p" rated Michelin tires and non bilstien shocks that the limited comes with from the factory .
I had to order my limited so I really didn't get to drive it before buying ,
The trd sport that I did test drive (made in the USA ) handled completely differently than my limited does
Not to mention finding out at the last min That my truck was made in Mexico when I saw the vin

Thought the limited came with Hitachi same as sport. They're bouncy shocks

Yay, a problem I don't have! My truck is solid on the highway, doesn't wander too much.

Crazy how everyone's transmission is shifting up n down like that. Mine works fine. Maybe try going 70mph intead of 65mph?

It goes in first thing in the morning so I'll let you know.
They claim it's full on fluid even though it came up with a high trans temp warning last week .
I won't own this truck much longer ,
Toyota dropped the ball on this Mexican made pile of crap they sold me for $42,000

Ouch, sorry for your disappointment. Mine was made in San Antonio. When I first got my 2016 Tacoma, I set it on cruise control at 60 - 70 mph. It stayed in 4th gear. It stopped doing that weeks later tho. It stays in 6th pretty well now until you hit a hill and it goes to 5th for a bit then back to 6th.

When I had a stickshift and cruise control...it'll stay in whatever gear you put it in lol

Mine will hunt for gears on flat ground ,
Both of these videos are on a consistent 4% grade with no wind , otherwise you would hear the wind howling from the a arms as well. Aparantly Toyota thought we wanted free kazoo lessons with these trucks too

Do you have the front air dam on? I heard some take that off and then air blows through the lower control arm and it howls at certain speeds. There's a cover to cover the holes on the LCA or it also could be your door weatherstripping by the side mirror. Easy fix. Maybe Im really am lucky cuz I don't have these weird problems.

My truck is a limited and has the air damn on it, I've seen the thread on the kazoo fixes but at the same time refuse to fix something Toyota is responsible to figure out on their own lol
I feel like I spent enough money on my truck to not have to touch any issue , at least not for the first couple years .
I am currently patiently waiting for my '16 trd pro 4Runner to arrive so I can dump this mistake

I would video record the Kazoo noise and show the service manager along with the tranny constantly shifting. If they can't make it right, I don't blame you for wanting a different vehicle but this shit ain't rocket science. They should be able to fix it.
