I agree with you that if we spend that kinda $$$ on a new truck, we shouldn't have to fix anything.

Oh it does drive you crazy , add to the mix a transmission that changes its mind more than a woman trying to buy shoes,
And tires that follow every crack/ rut in the road like a worn out jeep along with a laundry list of other crap and it pretty much explains why I want to set it on fire and let it drive across the Mexican boarder with no driver and the cruise control set lol

How long you had it? My dealer had like a 7 day 100% refund if you are not happy with your truck. Maybe exchange for a San Antonio made Tacoma?

I bought it on New Year's Eve and have put 7,800 miles on it so I think I'm stuck at this point .
Driving it in Seattle traffic and rarely ever seeing anything above 50 mph I didn't realize the issues right away .
It wasn't until making a 1,900 mile road trip a few weeks ago where most of the issues surfaced .
I put 79,000 miles on my 2011 dclb and
38,000 miles on my 2012 without any complaints . Can't seem to have the same luck this round though

That's crazy, my TRD OR has never done that.
Toyota needs to get off their ass and re-flash/re-program everyone of these transmissions.

Number 3 is from clip on door gaskets. They have a clip every 6 inches.

They leak air like hell on the highway. Mine is in right now at the dealer.

I dont have any specific information to base this on, but I work in Information Technology (Software/product development). My guess is that it isn't something "wrong" with Entune, but something unique to the iPhones/iOS. Apple probably has a weird hardware/non standard way they are connecting with Bluetooth or it might be something about the way iOS lets bluetooth enabled apps access the phone. Android OS's are more "standard" and give developers a little more latitude with how they interact with OS components. Toyota can't come out an blame Apple or they might get their app yanked from the app store (another Apple ecosystem benefit).

i hate that my truck cant do burnouts in 6th gear at 80 mph with 33" tires. worst motor ever. my old 1gr could have done that easily and got over 30 mpg. who needs 278hp when you have 236...

Let us see does Apple iPhones have a problem interfacing with Subaru or Honda, or for that matter I will bet other car manufactures Bluetooth systems, no? So Apple iPhone user can use all the features of these manufacture Bluetooth system so why not Toyota? Since Apple iPhones work great interfacing with those and other car manufacture Bluetooth systems then why is it such a big deal with them not working with Toyota Bluetooth system? Answer me that please! Could it be that Toyota and Apple are in a pissing match or just that Toyota software developers are so damn lazy? Nawwwww ..... tell me it ain't so! :D

Bingo! Folks we have a winner! The word is "temporary" solutions. I don't know about the rest of you but I didn't lay out all the cash I did to Toyota for "temporary" solutions. Oh well maybe I'm just wrong for bitching about not getting what I paid for, yes? Forgive me.....

I ran into a guy today with a '16 that said he is having problems with his JBL stereo.
    Anyone else?
