Mine will freeze , have to hold power button for 10 seconds to reboot . Other times it will auto reboot randomly without touching anything

Sounds like it's coming from the ventilation system. Air being buffeted in the cabin intake vent? Is this the same with recirc on or off?

    Could be

I've only had it happen to me once or twice and I can't recall if the recirc was on or off.

It's a control arm hole that causes the sound

You can always buy a better phone....

I hate Apple products, they are seldom compatible with anything NOT Apple.

My micro USB chargers are compatible with all kinds of my toys... except Apple products. Even Apple chargers aren't compatible with each other.

For the record, my Android phone does not drop calls, disconnect / reconnect, cause my radio to reboot and it uses the Qi charger just fine.

Yeah I am in the process of adding on to a room Estimate phase. So it will be awhile before I can drive to NJ and see family. Last time I went I took the Miata....But I have since sold the Miata and hoping I don't want another toy car....and stay in my new mancave instead.....Need more room. Gonna push that windowed wall out another 12' put some French Doors between rooms.

    Get outta my head!

Since buying my truck I haven't driven my Miata and have seriously considered selling it too!

I've had that car for 17 years, never thought I'd consider selling it but the truck has been too comfortable and fun to drive now.

We'll see how this summer goes.

Well you can probably keep that. I sold mine for $19500 cash..
A trip to NJ and a trip to Atlanta convinced me I had about all the fun I wanted.....Then I was bugged about the road noise and hitting my head on the roof running over a paper cup...LOL Plus the Miata was garaged with the wife's CRV. My truck was outside. I just went from three vehicles on my side to just one........I am looking a C6s again though ....for fun..I won't want to deal with local GM service again on anything.

That sound has to do with the drivers door seal.. Air is getting in between the rubber seals and making a squeaky queefing noise... I had this happen when I was on the highway with heavy crosswind. I thought my engine or transmission was having a problem... I cleaned around and made sure it was tight it and it hasn't happened since. Most likely a seal not seating right letting air.. There's a post with a fix for this..I think the dealer shoved some weather stripping between the seals.

Holy crap, haven't heard that one yet, just the blowing bottle sound at times from the control arms. Have six plugs enroute to do myself instead of proving to the dealership my truck qualifies for them.

I've gotten used to the control arm sound usually have the music cranked up.. I'll inquire with the my sales person before I bring it in for oil change and the other known concerns.

Yea we all know that the Manual is better, more reliable, makes you lift more, gives you another inch, makes you more attractive to the opposite sex, and won't hunt for gears. That being said does anyone know if Toyota or any aftermarket companies are making any programs to fix the constant shifting? You can program shift points for diesel trucks who's going to make one for a taco?

1.Agreed on the constant shifting problems. Left truck overnight and had ATF checked - reportedly full.

    2. Have not seen any posts/complaints about the Interval wiper setting being REVERSED. I have a 4Runner and Lexus and both of them are correct with the slower interval wiping marked with the wide white marking, and the faster interval marked with the narrow white mark. Dealership said, "that's the way they made the 2016 Tacomas." He said Toyota aware but not likely to fix it unless they get more complaints. Not a huge issue for me, but annoying to have something little like that be messed up - just hopeful nothing else on things I can not see. Just to do my part I am going to email Toyota and let them know I prefer to have a properly labelled wiper arm.

Okay, it appears that I was wrong about this issue with Entune!! I was sitting waiting for traffic after a 4th of July show that my son's band (Barbwire Revolt (Shameless Plug, they have one song on iTunes and Android Playstore) so check them out and like their Facebook page!!). While I was sitting there I was bitching to my wife for the 100th time about how Entune radios suck and how when Sirius/XM expired that I lost HD radio stations and the album images along with the decent size text for the album/song. Since I was just sitting there with the engine running, I started messing around and saw a button at the top of the screen right next to the clock at top center that said "Options". I clicked it and it was on FM Options, but there was a "scan" option and an "HD Radio" option. My radio was set on FM Options. I click the HD radio and voila!! I had the album artwork, album name and the song being played!! And I had all of the HD radio stations available once again.

Now why this is an "Option" I'm not sure. Why would someone want to turn this feature off? Apparently once the Sirius/XM expired, this turned off and defaulted to "FM Options" mode. So if this happened to you too, just go to the Options button and select "HD Radio" and you will be a happy Entune listener once again.

What I would say is rent one for a week, there are some small things that are kind of annoying, but no big deal. The biggest problems are the large mechincal issues that people are having, squeezes some buzzing whatever.... it's not a rolls.

Pardon me if this has already been answered in the hundreds of "transmission" posts, but I'm wondering how they check the transmission with their special tools? I asked for mine to be checked the other day at about 900 miles and the work order said "slow drip at 26mm" as I recall. Can anhone explain what that means? When I picked it up, the service advisor didn't really know.
