My opinions on vehicle looks changes weekly so sometimes I think even my own truck looks goofy but this new front end looks a little "chubby cheek" to me :( I'm sure it will grow on me

There's only so much you can do to a truck. Everything looks pretty new to me except maybe the cab, but why change the shape of the cab if it still looks good 10 years later? I love the look overall, although the first things I'd do is get some clean aftermarket rear tail lights and take that stupid air dam off.

Nothing yet. Old truck had the works.
Front end is hella weird looking. Rest of the truck is nice. Still from what i see i prefer 12-14s. Lets see what the power train is .

Here's the hires photo of the strange rear wheel - seems like a poor photoshop job...

That's a hell of a sexy sideshot though, but the more I look at it the more it looks photoshopped.

Curious how the trd off road version will look, also would like to see one with a hood scoop and no chrome. Yeah, itll definitely be hard to build a plate bumper for that. The front end doesnt have a straight line like previous tacos.

Photo taken on uneven ground. Rear axle flexed a little.

Looks like a plastic Hot Wheels mock-up.

front end = fail (who needs a lower air dam, looks like a Hyundai)
ass end = greater fail (ugly tail lights and way too much plastic)

My 2 cents, but with the exchange rate to CDA, and since we don't use pennies anymore, that would mean I owe money.

hhmmm, i really do not like that front end at all. the truck looks like it got fatter to me also.. i guess time will tell when all the specs are released.. i agree with others saying not a significant change as the cab looks the same as the current models. hope they put some good stuff under the hood to satisfy what ppl are hoping for mpg wise.. hopefully they didn't butcher up the suspension stuff so much that no lift parts are available for a while.. when i ordered my 2014 f150 i had to wait 6 months to get my fox coilovers due to design change.. i will say this though, even as much as i may not love the new look i like it better than anything else i've seen truck wise. and oh shit, they brought back that blue that some ppl love!

A couple of things I noticed including locking tailgate, sunroof, 4 & 7 pin trailer electrical connection and lack of mud flaps that others have mentioned:

    1) I don't see an am/fm antenna, does this mean they finally incorporated it into the glass?
    2) Rear bumper looks to have 4 proximity sensors. I like that, along with the backup camera.
    3) The electrical 120 volt outlet in the bed is missing.

    1. It does have a shark fin antenna near the back area.

    2. I like that too except I hope the sensor sound isn't too annoying like the seat belt chime.

    3. First thing I notice gone when I looked at the bed.

Meh. I'll stick with my '13... unless they've added some pretty significant mpg without sacrificing HP (or vice versa).

Maybe they moved the 120V outlet inside, like the fullsize trucks have been doing...

The current Tacoma has the shark fin (XM radio) and an am/fm antenna. I hate the am/fm antenna, it hits the ceiling in some parking ramps and it seems to find every branch when I'm driving to my hunting spots....
