The first few days seem to be the hardest. Than it is shit i want a cig. with coffee,dinner whatever. Just remember something you hate about them or smell an ashtray to detour your craving. Going on 7 years without one best of luck Lee

Was planning to before all this happened since my doctor put me on Welbutrin for it's primary reason. I did make it until noon to day cold turkey before I folded like a house of cards and went to the store to buy the cheapest most rot gut pack they had...which backfired spectacularly since they don't taste bad at all. Think I might have to do a patch or something. I was chewing the hell out of some gum and it really wasn't a need to do anyhting with my hands, it was just that I was getting more and more tense in spite of my xanax.

I have an appointment next week or so and I'm going to ask her to bump up my dosage and get some patches. Hopefully that will do it. I know I can. I quit for 2.5 years before getting sucked back in when they announced they were closing the hanger down here. I had a lot more stuff to distract me back then though.

i really hate how TW just stops notifying you of posts being made in threads you follow....ive been waiting to see an update on next month for the last month....then i see im 4 pages behind lmao....so whos got the updated list I started....haha

In spite of everything I think I've been staying on top of the list in the OP. I've heard nothing from the Forestry Service and, unfortunately I have too much other stuff to deal with right now to pester them. However, I will print the email chain I had with the lady out and show it to the ranger if we don't get our permit.

The way my life has been going lately, they'll have the whole place paved with gravel and it'll be boring as hell to trail ride. At least there's still the camping and drinking though.

Not necessarily. I've gotten reminder alerts before that I have unread posts in a thread I'm following. Got one the other day for the Classified thread. Dunno what triggers it though. It doesn't happen that often.

 

That as well, that is just like a check in. You definitely get a notification if you keep coming back to the thread. Then if you don't open the thread after said notification you won't get one unless you get the one you mentioned, after that one, no more.

Anyway, good news: I finally got the permit, signed it, and sent it back. All that has to happen now is for Ms. Stokes to sign it and send me the finalized copy we need to have at the meet.

 

so we're gonna figure out if we are 100% the weekend before Citrus right? haha

 

As of now I have the permits in hand. I made enough copies of that for everyone since it has Mine and John's personal info on it. Everyone else has to make sure they make a copy of the brochure if you don't already have one from previous trips. I'm going to try to attach it to this post, but I dunno if it will work...
